Discussion On Etiology Pathogenesis And Treatment Of Vascular Dementia Based On Correlation Theory Of Warm Disease And Damp Heat Disease

Objective:By collating the medical records and experiences of the four major scholars of the school of febrile diseases in treating dementia,we will recognize and develop the etiology,pathogenesis,and differentiation and treatment of vascular dementia using the theory of dampness and heat related to febrile diseases,with a view to better promoting the theoretical,clinical,and scientific research of vascular dementia.Methods:This article uses the "literature review method" to systematically comb the chapters and medical records related to damp-heat disease in the medical works of Ye Tianshi,Xue Shengbai,Wu Jutong,and Wang Mengying,screen out the discussions on the pathogenesis of damp-heat disease and dementia,explore the relationship between the two from the perspective of ancient medical books and modern mechanisms,and propose the thinking and methods of differentiation and treatment of damp-heat disease related theories in vascular dementia.Results:During the Ming and Qing Dynasties,the School of Febrile Diseases had a rich discussion on the etiology,pathogenesis,pathogenesis,treatment principles,methods,and medication characteristics of damp-heat disease.Among them,the understanding of damp-heat disease in the books and medical records of the four major scholars of febrile diseases provides a theoretical basis for the etiology,pathogenesis,and differentiation and treatment of vascular dementia in traditional Chinese medicine.The specific theoretical characteristics are summarized as follows: First,the theoretical characteristics of "turbid evil harms clearing" reflect the evolution rule of damp-heat turbid evil obscuring clearing the orifices,providing a theoretical basis for treating vascular dementia from the orifices.Secondly,the theoretical characteristics of "initial onset of dampness and heat in the meridians,and prolonged stagnation and heat entering the collaterals" and "prolonged and frequent occurrence of tsunamis will inevitably damage the collaterals" reflect the long-term stagnation of dampness and heat,and the disease enters the collaterals,causing brain collateral stasis or loss of nourishment,providing a theoretical basis for treating vascular dementia from the perspective of collaterals.3 、 The theoretical feature of "subject and object mixed reception" reflects the invasion of damp-heat pathogenic factors,which can consume human essence,blood,body fluid,diseases,and brain marrow in the later stage,providing a theoretical basis for treating vascular dementia from the perspective of marrow.Conclusion:1.Vascular dementia is treated from the "orifices"."Those who are harmed by turbid pathogenic factors are caused by dampness,heat,and turbid pathogenic factors.The main method for opening the orifices is to clear the orifices,and the main method is to open the orifices with fragrance.The aromatic method for removing turbid substances is to clear the orifices,remove the orifices,benefit the orifices,and clear the orifices.The selected recipe can be modeled on Wu Jutong’s three first-aid orifices,and the medicine contains Huoxiang,Baikoren,calamus,tulip,borneol,and the meaning of Tongyou in Dongyuan."2.Treatment of vascular dementia is based on "collateral".The initial onset of dampness-heat disease is in the meridians,and after a long period of time,it enters the meridians to coagulate blood stasis,and the brain meridians are blocked.If the disease is deficient,the method should be used to replenish the essence and blood.It is advisable to cultivate and replenish the essence and blood with affectionate products of blood and flesh.If the essence and blood are prosperous,the channels of the meridians will be filled,and the blood vessels will be
