| Objective:To construct a structured education curriculum system of blood glucose monitoring for nurses in non-endocrinology department, and to provide theoretical basis for the training of blood glucose monitoring for nurses in non-endocrinology department.Methods:(1)Literature analysis method: According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria of literature,Chinese and foreign databases were searched, literature on blood glucose monitoring of nurses in non-endocrinology department was consulted, and the curriculum system indexes were preliminarily extracted;(2)Semi-structured interview method : A purposive sampling method was used to conduct semi-structured interviews with non-endocrinology medical staff who met the inclusion criteria, and the Colaizzi seven-step analysis method was used to organize and analyze the interview contents,in order to supplement and improve the indicators of the curriculum system and form the first draft of the curriculum system;(3)Delphi method: 2 rounds of Delphi expert letter inquiries were conducted by sending emails to 20 experts who met the inclusion criteria. The research team sorted out, discussed and revised the opinions of experts, and finally established the curriculum system indicators.Excel2016 and SPSS26.0 software were used to calculate the basic information of experts and analyze the positive coefficient of experts, the degree of expert authority and the degree of expert opinion coordination;(4)Analytic hierarchy process: Excel2016 was used to calculate the weight of course modules and the combined weight of course content.Results:(1)Literature analysis results: In this study,54 literatures were finally included after screening the retrieved literatures.Through the analysis of the included literatures and group discussions,a total of 5 course modules and 30 course contents were extracted.(2)Results of semi-structured interviews: A total of 5 medical staff from non-endocrine departments were interviewed in this study.Through the sorting and analysis of the interview content, four major themes were extracted to supplement and improve the curriculum system indicators, including the degree of awareness of blood glucose monitoring, the degree of demand for blood glucose monitoring training, the degree of emphasis on blood glucose training, and the suggestions for blood glucose monitoring training courses. Finally, the first draft of the curriculum system was formed,including24 curriculum teaching objectives,5 curriculum modules and 30 curriculum contents.(3)Results of Delphi method: A total of 18 experts completed two rounds of correspondence in this study. The effective recovery rates of the two rounds of questionnaires were 90.00%and 100.00%,respectively,and the authority coefficient of experts in both rounds was0.978,indicating that the experts were highly motivated and authoritative. The Kendall coordination coefficients of the two rounds of correspondence were 0.331 and 0.364,respectively,and both were statistically significant(P<0.01).The final curriculum system index CV value ranged from 0.00 to 0.12,indicating a high degree of coordination of expert opinions. The finalized structured education curriculum system of blood glucose monitoring for non-endocrinology nurses includes 23 curriculum teaching objectives,5 curriculum modules and 32 curriculum contents.(4)Analytic hierarchy process results:The course module weights were: point-of-care testing(0.3635),glycated hemoglobin testing(0.1033),glycated albumin testing(0.0490),continuous glucose monitoring(0.2088),and diabetes knowledge related to glucose monitoring(0.2755).The top five course content combination weights were: use and care of CGM technology(0.1239),quality control and quality assurance of blood glucose meters(0.0548),factors affecting blood glucose monitoring results(0.0548),and standardized procedures for blood glucose testing(0.0548),and indications for clinical application of CGM technology(0.0548).The consistency ratio of each level index ranking was less than 0.1,indicating that the weight distribution of curriculum index was reasonable. Conclusion: Based on the concept of structured education, this study established a structured education curriculum system of blood glucose monitoring for nurses in non-endocrinology department through literature analysis,semi-structured interview,Delphi letter consultation and analytic hierarchy process, which contains 23 course teaching objectives,5 course modules and 32 course contents. It is scientific and reliable and can provide theoretical basis for the implementation of blood glucose monitoring training course for nurses in non-endocrinology department. |
