Objective: patients with schizophrenia tend to sedentary lifestyle, weight gain and abnormal metabolic reactions caused by atypical antipsychotics increased side reaction of cardiovascular chronic diseases, appropriate sports to control weight gain has significant advantages, and to improve mental symptoms and cognitive recovery also promote, but patients with schizophrenia affected by a variety of reasons is difficult to act.Recently, many studies have said that the factors affecting the lack of sports are related to motivation.Motor motivation is a key factor in support of sustained movement. At present, foreign studies on motor motivation are mostly under the construction of theoretical models, and there is no relevant data to confirm the situation of patients’ motor motivation in China. We hypothesized that patients in remission of schizophrenia had a lack of motor motivation and explored the relevant influencing factors of motor motivation. Methods: 60 outpatient and inpatient schizophrenic patients in remission and 61 healthy subjects matched for age,sex and education were selected as subjects. The Sport Motivation Scale(SMS),MATRICS Consensus Cognitive Battery(MCCB),Social Support Rate Scale(SSRS)and Motivation and Pleasure Scale-Self Report(MAP-SR)were used to measure patients and normal subjects, and the differences between the two groups were compared. At the same time, the relationship between motor motivation and cognitive function, social support system and pleasant emotion was analyzed, and the correlation was determined by stepstep regression analysis. Results:Total score of SMS [(104.77±34.37)points] and factor score of seeking knowledge [(15.18±6.39)] in experimental group Scores],achievement factor[(16.33±6.64)points],stimulus experience factor [(16.58±6.23)points],identification factor [(15.80±6.48)points],internalization factor [(14.75±6.21)points],external regulatory factor [(13.43±5.12)points] and unmotivated factor [(12.68±4.80)points were lower than the control group [(19.87±4.71),(20.89±4.64),(20.97±4.73),(19.74±4.37),(19.75±4.51),(16.21±4.67)and(16.38±4.78)points,respectively.P<0.05].The total MCCB score of the experimental group [(37.10±8.50)points] was significantly lower than that of the control group [(53.92±5.39)points,P<0.05],and the differences among all factors were statistically significant except for the connection factor(P<0.05).The total score of SSRS in the experimental group [(32.70±9.96)points] was significantly lower than that in the control group [(42.90±8.75)points,P<0.05],and the subjective support factor was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total MAP-SR score of the experimental group [(40.55±11.10)points,P=0.065] was lower than that of the control group, but the results showed no statistical significance, and the social pleasure factor score [(16.17±4.60)points,P<0.05] was statistically significant.Correlation analysis results showed that The total score of SMS and MCCB in the experimental group(r=0.450,P<0.01),the score of symbol coding factor(r=0.275,P<0.05),number sequence factor score(r=0.297,P<0.05),maze factor score(r=0.302,P<0.05),emotion management factor score(r=0.248,P<0.05)were positively correlated; In the experimental group, the total score of SMS was positively correlated with the total score of SSRS(r=0.341,P<0.01),objective support factor score(r=0.311,P<0.05)and subjective support factor score(r=0.261,P<0.05).In the experimental group, the total score of SMS was positively correlated with the total score of MAP-SR(r=0.340,P<0.01),the score of social pleasure factor(r=0.272,P<0.05)and the score of motivation factor(r=0.378,P<0.01).After adjusting for confounding factors, the total score of SMS was linearly correlated with the total score of negative scale and MCCB in schizophrenic patients in remission. The negative scale score was negatively correlated with the total score of SMS in schizophrenia remission(B=-3.197,95%CI=-5.167~-1.227,P<0.05),while the total score of MCCB was positively correlated with the total score of SMS in schizophrenia remission(B=1.390,95%CI=0.472~2.309,P<0.05).Conclusion: 1.Deficiency of motor motivation in patients with schizophrenia in remission;2.There is a correlation between motor motivation of schizophrenic patients, cognitive functions, social support system and pleasurable experience;3.Negative symptoms and cognitive function can affect the degree of motor motivation deficit in patients with schizophrenia.
