| Objective:To explore the predictive value of monocyte/high density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio combined with BMI in hypertension complicated with carotid atherosclerosis.Method:The clinical data of 436 patients with hypertension during hospitalization were analyzed retrospectively. The general clinical data(BMI was calculated based on height and weight),laboratory indexes(MHR was calculated based on monocytes and high density lipoprotein cholesterol),carotid ultrasound and others of the enrolled subjects were recorded.According to the results of carotid ultrasound, the enrolled subjects were divided into a carotid artery sclerosis group(n=211)and a non-carotid artery sclerosis group(n=225)and the differences were compared between the groups.Correlation analysis of correlation between MHR level and carotid arteriosclerosis in patients with hypertension.According to BMI,the patients in the carotid artery sclerosis group were divided into the normal weight group(n=65,18.5≤BMI<24.0 kg/m2),super-recombination group(n=62,24.0≤BMI<28.0 kg/m2)and obesity group(n=84,BMI≥28.0 kg/m2).Similarly,those in the non-carotid artery sclerosis group were divided into the normal weight group(n=60),super-recombination group(n=75)and obesity group(n=90),and the differences were compared within the group.Correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between serum MHR level of patients with hypertension combined with carotid arteriosclerosis group and BMI and other indicators,so as to screen out the indicators that affect MHR level of patients with hypertension combined with carotid arteriosclerosis group.Logistic regression analysis was used to explore the influencing factors of carotid arteriosclerosis in patients with hypertension.ROC curve is used to analyze whether MHR has predictive value for hypertensive patients complicated with carotid atherosclerosis. Conclusion:MHR is an independent risk factor for carotid atherosclerosis in hypertensive patients. The increase of BMI is the influencing factor of the increase of MHR;MHR combined with BMI has a good predictive value for carotid atherosclerosis in hypertensive patients. |
