Objective: To analyze the effect of intercostal nerve block on the analgesic effect and complications of transthoracic closure of atrial septal defect in children. Methods: A total of 117 children who underwent selective atrial septal defect closure surgery in our hospital from October 2018 to August 2020 were randomly divided into observation group and control group. The observation group was treated with intercostal nerve block on the basis of intravenous inhalation anesthesia, and the control group was treated with routine analgesia on the basis of intravenous inhalation anesthesia. The observation group was treated with intercostal nerve block on the basis of intravenous inhalation anesthesia, and the control group was treated with intravenous inhalation anesthesia.Postoperative FLACC score,CRIES score,Riker sedation and agitation score during postoperative recovery and extubation,ICU stay time, tracheal intubation removal time, postoperative hospital stay, postoperative pain relief time, and incidence of postoperative adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results: After intercostal nerve block, the FLACC score,CRIES score and Riker sedation agitation score in the observation group were lower than those in the control group at T1,T2 and T3,and the differences were statistically significant(ALL P<0.05).ICU stay time, tracheal intubation extraction time and postoperative hospital stay time in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(ALL P<0.05).The time of pain relief in observation group was shorter than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion: Intercostal nerve block for patients with atrial septal defect after minimally invasive thoracic closure has little adverse reactions, accurate analgesic effect, high safety and simple operation, which has good clinical application and promotion value.
