Predictive Value Of Triglyceride Glucose Index In Acute Pancreatitis

Objective:The aim of this study was to investigate the potential value of triglyceride glucose index in the assessment of acute pancreatitis.Methods:The clinical data of AP patients APmitted to our hospital from December 2020 to December 20201 were retrospectively analyzed.347 cases were included,and the patients in the included group were divided into mild(MAP group)and severe(SAP group)according to the Atlanta classification.The general clinical data and laboratory findings of patients in each group were analyzed,and the Ty G index was calculated and compared between groups.Logistic regression analysis was used to investigate the independent risk factors for SAP,and the ROC curve was used to analyze the value of Ty G index in assessing the severity of pancreatitis.Results: TG,GLU,TYG index,WBC,IL-6,PCT,were lower in the non-SAP group than in the SAP group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),while the differences in other factors between the two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05).logistic stepwise regression analysis,the results showed that TYG index,IL-6,PCT entered the final model,and the table TYG index,IL-6,and PCT h AP a statistically significant effect on the occurrence of SAP(P<0.05),and all were positive,i.e.the higher the TYG index,IL-6,and PCT,the greater the likelihood of SAP.ROC curve analysis,the results showed that the area under the curve of TYG index,IL-6,and PCT were 0.869(0.808-0.929),0.839(0.761-0.917),0.931(0.748-0.914),all of which were statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that TYG index,IL-6 and PCT have diagnostic value for the presence or absence of SAP,with sensitivities of 88.7%,75.5% and 77.4%,specificities of 73.4%,92.8% and 92.2%,respectively,and cutConclusion :Ty G index is an independent predictor of patients with AP or may be a simple predictor of SAP.
