| Objective: To explore the predictive efficacy of CT gray histogram texture analysis method in predicting the degree of pathological differentiation in patients with laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma(LSCC),and to provide more feasibility for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods: 105 patients with laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma diagnosed by surgery and pathology were retrospectively collected, and divided into three groups according to different pathological differentiation degrees. The maximum cross sectional area of the lesion on the axial position during the venous phase of CT enhancement scanning was selscted for three groups of patients, use Ma Zda texture analysis software to draw the ROI,use the gray histogram method to extract the texture parameters of the three groups of images, and carry out statistical analysis. The ROC curve is established for statistically significant texture feature parameters, and the diagnostic effectiveness of each texture parameter is summarized and analyzed. Results: Nine texture parameters including mean,1st percentile(Perc.0l%),10 th percentile(Perc.10%),50 th percentile(Perc.50%),99 th percentile(Perc.99%),variance,Skewness and Kurtosis were extracted from the effective image using the analysis method of CT grayscale histogram, including mean,1st percentile,10 th percentile,50 th percentile The 99 th percentile and degree of variation were significantly different among the three groups of LSCC(P<0.05).The ROC curve analysis shows that the diagnostic efficiency of the mean value is the highest, and the maximum AUC is 0.835.When the critical value is 142.765,the sensitivity and specificity corresponding to the mean value are 79.50% and 78.70% respectively. Conclusion: The texture parameters extracted by the gray-scale histogram analysis method based on CT enhanced images are different in three groups of LSCC with different degrees of differentiation, and play an important role in the differentiation of LSCC,which provides a certain guidance for the judgment and evaluation of its malignant degree before surgery, and increases its clinical application value. |
