Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of 30 Cases Of Children With Cough Variant Asthma Of Wind And Phlegm Love Lung Type With Self-made Xiaofeng Qutan Decoction

Objective:The primary goal of this research was to explore the therapeutic effect of self-prepared Xiaofeng Qutan decoction in the therapy of children who were plagued by cough variant asthma with wind-phlegm-induced pulmonary disease,and to evaluate the efficacy of self-prepared Xiaofeng Qutan decoction by analyzing the changes of TCM symptom scores before and after therapy.Methods:60 children were divided into control group and observation group by random number table,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Montelukast sodium tablets,chewing 1 tablet before going to bed every night;the observation group was given self-prepared Xiaofeng Qutan decoction(plus or without oral administration)on the basis of the treatment method of the control group(Miephedra 5g,Suzi 6g,Shegan 6g,Schisandra 6g,Mizi 9g,cicada slugu 6g,Silong 9g,fried Coix seed 15 g,Qianhu 9g,platycodon 6g,Taoren 6g).Both teams were observed for 4 weeks.General information and symptoms before treatment were recorded in the two groups,and scores of TCM symptoms before and after treatment were compared.The data collected in this clinical randomized controlled study were processed with SPSS25.0 software.Results:1.Comparison of total effective rate: In the observation team,4 cases were cured,17 cases were markedly effective,13 cases were effective,2cases were ineffective,and the effective rate was 93.33%.In the control team,1 case was cured,4 cases were markedly effective,19 cases were effective,6 cases were ineffective,and the effective rate was 80%.There was a significant discrepancy in the distribution of TCM clinical efficacy between the two teams(P < 0.05),but there was no significant discrepancy in the total effective rate between the two teams(P>0.05).2.There was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05)in the comparison of the main and most minor symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine between the two groups of children before treatment,which was comparable.After treatment,the total score of main TCM symptoms,cough degree,duration of each cough,as well as the total score of secondary TCM symptoms,sleep(number of coughs and wakes at night),tongue picture,and pulse picture in the observation group improved significantly compared to the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).There were no significant adverse reactions during the treatment in the observation group and the control group,and the study was relatively safe.Conclusion:Self designed Xiaofeng Expectorant decoction combined with Montelukast sodium tablets can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of children with cough-variant asthma with wind-phlegm-induced pulmonary disease,and the adverse reaction is small,so it can be widely used.
