Objective: To investigate the effectiveness and safety of laparoscopic lateral suspension in anterior and apical pelvic organ prolapse by analyzing the treatment results of this procedure. Methods: In this study, from June 2021 to June 2022,30 patients with prolapse of anterior and apical pelvic organs prolapse(POP-Q grade Ⅱ-Ⅳ degree)who underwent laparoscopic lateral suspension were selected as the research objects. The objective curative effect(points Aa,Ba,C,D,Ap and Bp in POP-Q scale),subjective curative effect(PFDI-20,PFIQ-7 and PISQ-12 questionnaire)and postoperative complications of 30 patients were mainly analyzed.Results:(1)Comparing the points Aa,Ba,C,D,Ap and Bp in POP-Q grading at 3 months,6 months after operation and before operation, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(2)Compared with preoperative PISQ-12 at 3 months and 6 months after operation, the score was significantly improved, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The scores of PFDI-20 and PFIQ-7 were compared with those before operation at 3 months and 6 months after operation, and the scores decreased significantly, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusions: Laparoscopic lateral suspension can restore the anatomical position of pelvic organs in the treatment of anterior and apical pelvic organ prolapse, and patients’ postoperative quality of life and sexual quality of life were significantly improved compared with the preoperative period.Laparoscopic lateral suspension has the advantage of being safe and effective in short-term follow-up. |
