Objective:This study used retrospective analysis to explore the effect of percutaneous coronary intervention on the short-and long-term recovery of cardiac function in elderly patients with chronic total occlusion. Methods: This review was reviewed for the clinical data of patients who successfully underwent CTO-PCI in our hospital from January 2018 to December 2019,a total of 95 patients eligible for the study were included, and the general data serological data of the included subjects and cardiac function related indicators before and after recanalization were collected, including left ventricular ejection fraction, left ventricular end-diastolic diameter, and N-terminal brain natriuretic peptide precursors. In addition, the occurrence of major adverse cardiovascular events in June and December after discharge was collected.Results:1.Analysis of baseline data showed that there were no significant differences in clinical data such as age, sex, smoking history, alcohol history, hypertension history, diabetes history, and family history of hypertension(P>0.05),and there were significant differences in the analysis of previous family heart disease history(P<0.05);2.Analysis of serological indexes showed that the levels of ALT,AST,CK,CKMB,TC,LDL-C,MONO,Hb and NT-pro BNP decreased in patients 6 months and 12 months after interventional surgery, which was statistically significant(P<0.05);3.LVEF 6 months and 12 months after surgery was significantly higher than before recanalization, and LVED(s)and LVED(d)decreased in 6 months and 12 months after surgery compared with preoperative, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Among multiple vascular lesions,LVEF was significantly higher at 6 months and 12 months after surgery, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Among the single vessel lesions, the postoperative circumflex LVED(d)and LVED(s)showed a downward trend compared with before recanalization, and LVEF was significantly higher than before recanalization, and the differences were statistically significant Conclusion:Successful CTO-PCI can improve left ventricular myocardial remodeling and cardiac function in elderly patients with coronary CTO,and CTO-PCI can bring greater benefits to elderly patients with multivascular CTO lesions.
