Objective:The purpose of this study was to investigate the distribution of Apolipoprotein C3(ApoC3)gene polymorphismin different populations in Xinjiang and it correlation with coronary artery disease(CAD),blood lipid profile,and other cardiac metabolic risk factors.Methods:In this study,a case-control study methed was used.A total of 854 patients with coronary artery disease(515 Han and 339 Uygur)confirmed by coronary angiography and 876 control groups(518 Han and 358 Uygur)with negative coronary angiography were included.Two single nucleotide polymorphisms(rs5128 and rs2854116)of ApoC3 gene were genotyped by using the improved multiple high temperature ligase detection reaction technology,and the relationship between single nucleotide polymorphisms of ApoC3 gene and coronary heart disease and risk factors was analyzed.SPSS 26.0 software was used for statistical analysis of the data.Results:In the Uygur population,the distribution frequency of different genotypes,dominant model(CC VS C/G+G/G)and recessive model(GG VS C/G+C/C)at rs5128 of ApoC3 gene between the case group and the control group was statistically significant(P<0.05);However,there was no significant difference between the two groups in the distribution of the rs5128 genotype of ApoC3 gene and various genotype models between the case group and the control group(P>0.05).On the basis of the above results,further unconditional logistic regression analysis was carried out.After adjusting the traditional risk factors and confounding factors of coronary heart disease,it was found that the dominant model(CC VS C/G+G/G)of rs5128 locus was the protective factor of coronary heart disease in Han men(OR=0.541,95%Cl:0.294-0.997,P=0.049).In the Uygur population,the dominant model(CC VS C/G+G/G)of rs5128 locus is a protective factor of coronary heart disease(OR=0.650,95%CI:0.410-0.893,P=0.011),and the recessive model(GG VS C/G+C/C)is a risk factor for coronary heart disease(OR=6.554,95%CI:1.654-25.977,P=0.007).Conciusion:ApoC3 gene polymorphism has a good correlation with the occurrence of coronary heart disease in Han males and Uighur populations in Xinjiang.
