| Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of self-prepared Liangxue Xiaoji Decoction in the treatment of childhood atopic dermatitis(heart fire and spleen deficiency type)and its effect on serum IgE level.Methods: All the selected children came from the dermatology clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from February 2022 to January 2023.72 children who met the inclusion criteria were selected and divided into treatment group and control group according to the random grouping method,of which 36 children in the treatment group all completed the treatment.In the control group,36 children completed treatment in 35 cases and 1 case fell off.The treatment group was given Liangxue Xiaoji Decoction for oral use,the control group was given cetirizine hydrochloride syrup for oral use,and the children in both groups were given emollient vitamin E milk for external use.Two weeks is a course of treatment,and two courses of treatment are observed.The range of skin lesions,severity,itching degree and SCORAD score of children before and after treatment were recorded,as well as the change of children’s related quality of life score and the change of serum total IgE level,recurrence rate and adverse reactions before and after treatment.The measured data were statistically analyzed after the end of the experiment.Results:1.The total effective rate was 91.7% in the treatment group and 68.6% in the control group.The data of the two groups were statistically significant(P <0.05),and the curative effect of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group.2.After treatment,the total score of SCORAD in both groups decreased,but the range of decrease in the treatment group was larger than that in the control group.After treatment,the total score of SCORAD in the treatment group(22.350 ± 11.118)was lower than that in the control group(34.646 ± 10.504)(P<0.05),indicating that the improvement of disease symptoms in the treatment group was better than that in the control group.3.After treatment,the serum total IgE level of children in the two groups decreased,but the serum total IgE level of children in the treatment group decreased more significantly,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),indicating that the treatment group improved the serum total IgE level better than the control group.4.The recurrence rate was 12.1% in the treatment group and 37.5% in the control group.The difference in recurrence rate between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05),indicating that the recurrence rate in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group.5.There were no abnormalities in blood and urine routine,liver and kidney function and ECG before and after treatment in both groups,and the indicators were within the normal range.Conclusion:1.The use of Liangxue Xiaoji Decoction combined with emollients can improve the SCORAD score of children with atopic dermatitis(heart fire and spleen deficiency type).2.The use of Liangxue Xiaoji Decoction combined with emollients can improve the serum total IgE level of children with atopic dermatitis(heart fire and spleen deficiency type).3.The therapeutic effect of Liangxue Xiaoji Decoction combined with emollients on childhood atopic dermatitis(heart fire and spleen deficiency type)is better than that of cetirizine hydrochloride syrup combined with emollients.4.Liangxue Xiaoji Decoction is safe and effective in the treatment of childhood atopic dermatitis(heart fire and spleen deficiency type). |
