Expression And Meanings Of TGF-β1,TIMP-1 And MMP-9 In Placenta Tissues Of Patients With Gestational Diabetes Mellitus And Premature Rupture Of Membranes

Objective To explore the expressions of TGF-β1,TIMP-1 and MMP-9 in Placenta Tissues of patients with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus and Premature Rupture Of Membranes and their meanings.Methods 90 gravidas were selected and separated into 3 groups-30 full-term casess who were diagnosed with GDM and PROM(group A),30 full term cases who were diagnosed with GDM and underwent vaginal delivery at spontaneous labor(group B) and 30 full-term cases who underwent Cesarean Section.The expressions of TGF-β1,TIMP-1 and MMP-9 in their placenta tissues were detected by IHC staining,Western Blotting,and the differences were analyzed.Results The expression of MMP-9were gradually reducing(P<0.05),while the expressions of TGF-β1 as well as TIMP-1 were gradually increasing(P<0.05)in three groups.Conclusion The reduce of the expression of TGF-β1 in placenta tissues may influence the balance of MMP-9/TIMP-1 ratio by modulating their expressions,which speeds the degradation of collagen,reduces the toughness and strength of membranes and therefore contributes to premature rupture of membranes.
