Objectives:Applying investigative research,to understand the current status situation of stigma in patients with rheumatoid arthritis,and describe the influence of general demographic data,self-esteem,depression and social support on stigma in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.To analyze and explore the correlation between stigma and social support,self-esteem,depression in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.It can improve the quality of life of patients with rheumatoid arthritis in the future,formulate clinical intervention measures,provide theoretical basis for promoting the rehabilitation of patients,and provide guidance for further scientific research.Methods : The method of convenient sampling was adopted,216 patients with rheumatoid arthritis who were admitted to the hospital from December 2019 to August2020 in the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology of a third-class hospital in Hefei,Anhui Province were selected as the research objects.The General Demographic Social Data Questionnaire,the Self-Esteem Scale,the Social Support Rating Scale,the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale for Depress-24,and the Social Impact Scale were used for Cross-sectional survey study.The SPSS 22.0 software was applied for statistical analysis of data。Specific methods included descriptive statistics,one-way analysis of variance,T test,Spearman correlation analysis and multiple linear regression.Two independent samples t test and analysis of variance were used for univariate analysis,Spearman was used to analyze depression,self-esteem,social support and stigma of patients with rheumatoid arthritis.Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of stigma in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.Results : The total average score of stigma in patients with rheumatoid arthritis was(69.22 ±13.10)in this study.The social support score for patients with rheumatoid arthritis was(31.42±6.80),the self-esteem was(23.58±5.38),the depression score was(20.51±10.95).Spearman correlation analysis shows that self-esteem level was negatively correlated with stigma(r=-0.579,P<0.001),depression level was positively correlated with stigma(r= 0.473,P <0.001),and social support level was negatively correlated with stigma(r=-0.350,P<0.001).Self-esteem,depression,social support,and self-care ability refer to four variables as the main influencing factors of stigma in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.Conclusion:Patients with rheumatoid arthritis have higher levels of stigma.Patients with rheumatoid arthritis have low levels of self-esteem,severe depression,and low levels of social support.Medical staff should pay more attention to the level of stigma in patients with rheumatoid arthritis,and take active measures to improve the level of social support and self-esteem of patients,reduce the level of depression,and reduce the level of stigma in patients.
