Hearing loss is a pathological change in the human ear’s decreased auditory sensitivity, including mild to severe hearing loss and deafness.Patients mainly manifest themselves as unable to hear or hear their surroundings clearly, which leads to a decline in their social adaptability and even affects their mental health. As of 2013,about 1.1billion people were affected in some way by hearing loss.It causes disability in some466 million people(5% of the global population).A hearing aid is a device that improves hearing by making sounds heard by a person with hearing loss. However, research points out that difficulty in having a normal hearing experience in a noisy environment has become the biggest pain point for hearing aid wearers. If hearing devices are shown to improve speech perception in background noise, public awareness of hearing devices may increase considerably.Exploring the possibility of hearing devices to improve language perception in background noise is a fascinating topic. In this project, aiming at the pain points of user experience of hearing aids in noisy environments,a controlled test of whether hearing aid wearing can improve the user’s speech perception ability in noise was carried out,and the collected magnetoencephalography(MEG)data was preprocessed by the method of eliminating artifacts, and through the comparative analysis of the subjects’ noisy hearing test(HINT)results,in addition to the existing MEG data,an m TRF model based on Ridge regression was constructed,so as to reconstruct the speech envelope of the MEG signal. In the correlation analysis with the speech envelope extracted from the audio signal heard by the subject, the purpose of comparing the traceability of audio signal is achieved,so as to obtain the influence of hearing aids on the traceability of audio signals in the cerebral cortex of elderly users.Through the above experimental steps, the following conclusions were finally obtained: after three months of hearing aid wearing, the traceability of language signals in the cerebral cortex of elderly patients with hearing impairment was significantly enhanced;Elderly patients with hearing impairment had significantly improved their ability to hear target statements in a noisy environment after three months of hearing aid wearing. The hearing level of elderly patients with hearing impairment in noisy environments was positively correlated with the traceability of cerebral cortex signals, and this association was enhanced with long-term wearing of hearing aids, which verified that wearing hearing aids can enhance users’ language perception in noisy environments.
