Observation On The Therapeutic Effect Of Self-designed Wuteng Xiaobi Foot Bath Formula Combined With Mecobalamin On Diabetes Peripheral Neuropathy

Objective:By observing the curative effect of Self-designed Wuteng Xiaobi Foot Bath Recipe combined with mecobalamin on Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy(yang deficiency and cold coagulation type),this paper discusses the clinical efficacy and safety of self-made Wuteng Xiaobi Foot Bath Recipe combined with mecobalamin on Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy,and provides evidence-based medical evidence for clinical treatment.Method:In this study,60 patients with Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy(Yang deficiency cold coagulation type)were selected from the outpatient department and inpatient department of Lixin County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December2021 to December 2022 as research objects,and were divided into treatment group(30cases)and control group(30 cases)by random number table method.The control group was given basic treatment for diabetes and oral nutritional neurodrug mecobalamine tablets,and other drugs affecting the observation results were avoided.The treatment group was additionally treated with self-designed Wuteng Xiaobi foot bath prescription on the basis of control group.The course of treatment was 8 weeks.TCM symptom scores,lower extremity electromyographic nerve conduction velocity(MCV,SCV),Michigan Diabetic Neuropathy Scale(MDNS)scores were recorded in the two groups before treatment and at the 8th week of treatment,respectively.Statistical analysis was performed,and the number of adverse reactions was recorded at the same time.Results:1.Comparison of clinical efficacy: TCM symptom scores of the two groups were decreased compared with before(P<0.05),and the decrease was more obvious in the treatment group(P<0.05).The total effective rate was 96.67% in the treatment group and 73.33% in the control group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Comparison of lower extremity electromyographic nerve conduction velocity(MCV,SCV): After treatment,the electromyographic nerve conduction velocity(MCV,SCV) of lower extremity in the two groups was significantly increased compared with that before treatment(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment plan of the treatment group and the control group had a definite effect.The EMG nerve conduction velocity(MCV,SCV)was significantly improved in the treatment group(P<0.05).3.Comparison of MDNS scores: MDNS scores of both groups decreased after treatment compared with before treatment(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment regimens of both the treatment group and the control group were effective.Moreover,the score of the treatment group decreased more significantly after treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion:In the treatment of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy(Yang deficiency and cold coagulation type),the clinical effect of Self-designed Wuteng Xiaobi Foot Bath Recipe combined with mecobalamine is better than that of mecobalamine tablets alone.The Self-designed Wuteng Xiaobi Foot Bath Recipe combined with mecobalamine has definite clinical efficacy,can improve patients’ discomfort symptoms,improve nerve conduction velocity,convenient and practical,high safety,worthy of further promotion and application.
