| Objective The efficacy and difference of functional dyspepsia(FD)were evaluated by using two acupoint selection methods, namely combined acupoints and conventional acupoints. To explore the clinical effect of combined acupoints and the volumeefficacy relationship of acupoints,so as to provide a research basis for further study and optimization of FD treatment, guidance of clinical treatment and exploration of the mechanism of combined acupoints and combined acupoints effect.MethodsA total of 78 FD patients(patients with spleen and stomach weakness)were divided into two groups using the random number table method, with 39 cases in each group receiving acupuncture treatment. In the observation group,Zhongwan and Zusanli were selected as combined acupoint points, while the control group was selected as conventional acupoint points : Zhongwan,Zusanli,Weishu,Qihai,Guanyuan and Neiguan.Acupuncture treatment was performed once a day,6 consecutive times as treatment,a total of 4 courses. The frequency and course of treatment of the two groups were the same.Patients’ TCM,NDI and HAMA symptom scores were collected and recorded before and after treatment.SPSS 26.0 was used to analyse and process the data and to assess the efficacy and difference of therapeutic effects.Results1.Prior to treatment, there was no significant difference(P > 0.05)between general information such as gender, age, disease progression, syndrome scores,NDSI、NDLQI and HAMA.2.Clinical efficacy of TCM: the overall response rate was 91.18% in the observed group and 91.43% in the control group. The sum of participation rates between groups was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).3.TCM symptom score: the total TCM symptom in both groups was significantly reduced after treatment(P < 0.01).The difference in total score(P < 0.05)was not statistically significant.Individual scores in the post-treatment control group were lower than those in the observation group(P < 0.05)and other individual scores between the two groups were not statistically significant(P < 0.05).4.NDI Scores: significant reduction in NDLSI Scores(P < 0.01)and significant increase in NDLQI Scores(P < 0.01)after treatment, the NDSI and NDLQI Scores were not statistically significant(P < 0.05).5.HAMA Score: the HAMA Score was significantly reduced(P < 0.01)in both groups after treatment and was not statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion1.Acupuncture treatment of He-mu acupoints and conventional acupoints can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of functional dyspepsia(weakness of spleen and stomach)and improve the quality of life of patients.2.Acupuncture at He-mu acupoints and conventional acupoints can effectively improve the TCM symptoms of patients, and conventional acupoints is superior to he-mu acupoints in the improvement of hand and foot hypothermia.3.Acupoint combination with He-mu and conventional acupoint combination have similar efficacy in improving patients’ symptoms and quality of life. |
