Objective: To investigate the diagnostic value of CT-enhanced scanning and target reconstruction for isolated ground glass nodule-like lung adenocarcinoma and to study the characteristics associated with solitary pulmonary ground glass nodules to improve the diagnostic accuracy of isolated pulmonary ground glass nodules, particularly isolated ground glass nodule-like lung adenocarcinoma. Methods: Sixty patients with pulmonary ground glass nodules treated in our hospital between September 2020 and August 2022 were selected retrospectively, with 50 cases having pathological results confirmed as pulmonary adenocarcinoma and ten patients having pathological results confirmed as non-malignant lesions or precancerous lesions, and the selected cases’ primary clinical data and chest CT plain and enhanced scan image data were observed and collected. The fundamental clinical and imaging parameters were examined. The diagnostic efficacy of conventional CT plain scan versus CT improved combined with target reconstruction for diagnosing ground glass nodule-like lung adenocarcinoma was compared. The data were statistically and analytically analyzed using SPSS 26.0 software, and all differences were statistically significant when P< 0.05 was used.Results:(1)In this study, there was no statistically significant difference in gender(P >0.05)and a statistically significant age difference(P< 0.05)between the malignant and non-malignant groups. The likelihood of the right upper lobe of the lung was comparatively high in the malignant group over the non-malignant group, and there was no statistically significant difference in the location of the nodules between the two groups(P > 0.05).(2)There was no statistically significant difference between the malignant and non-malignant groups in the pleural distance, net increase CT value in the static-arterial phase(P > 0.05),and statistically significant differences in long diameter, short diameter, sphericity, pleural distance, solid component, plain CT value,CT value in the arterial phase,CT value in the venous phase, net increase CT value in the arterial phase, net increase CT value in the venous phase. The vascular cluster sign(35 cases in total,70%)was more likely to appear in the malignant group than the lobar sign(19 patients in total,38%)or the pleural pull sign(15cases in total,30%),and the vascular cluster sign and lobar sign were statistically different(P<0.05).(3)Conventional CT scan sensitivity was 76%,specificity was 60%,accuracy was73%;CT-enhanced combined target reconstruction sensitivity was 96%,specificity was 80%,accuracy was 93%.According to the ROC curve study, the area under the curve(AUC)of CT-enhanced combined target reconstruction was 0.880,more significant than that of a standard CT scan. The results demonstrated that CT-enhanced mixed target reconstruction had greater diagnostic effectiveness than regular CT plain scans for ground glass nodule-like lung cancer.Conclusion:(1)CT-enhanced scanning, combined with a target reconstruction approach, can significantly increase the diagnostic effectiveness of isolated ground glass nodule-like lung cancer.(2)The long diameter, short diameter, sphericity, solid component, plain CT value, arterial CT value, venous CT value, arterial net increase CT value, venous net increase CT value, lobar sign, and vascular collection sign of pulmonary ground glass nodules have a high diagnostic value in differentiating benign and malignant pulmonary ground glass nodules.(3)When the nodule exhibits the vascular collection sign,it indicates a higher likelihood of nodule malignancy. |
