Objective: Obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS)is a common sleep disorder in clinical practice. Most studies have shown that OSAHS is closely related to blood lipid, blood sugar, blood pressure, oxidative stress and inflammation in the body, and can cause serious cardiovascular, brain, kidney and vascular diseases. Therefore, this study carried out a metabonomics study on OSAHS to find potential metabolic biomarkers in patients,so as to seek a more optimized diagnosis and treatment plan. Methods: This study was an observational study.A total of 91 patients in the OSAHS experimental group were included after sleep respiration monitoring in the study population, including 31 patients in the mild OSAHS group,30 patients in the moderate OSAHS group,30 patients in the severe OSAHS group, and 28 patients in the non-OSAHS control group.Serum of the population was collected for examination. The serum metabolites of the study subjects were detected by non-targeted metabolomics using the liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(LC-MS/MS)analysis platform, and the difference of metabolites was analyzed by using Proteowizard software package and R software package, and the potential metabolic biomarkers of OSAHS patients were finally attempted to be found. Results :(1)comparing OSAHS patients with non-osahs patients,it was found that there were differences in serum substance maps such as lipid and carbohydrate metabolism disorder, protein synthesis and decomposition disorder, vitamin metabolism disorder, nucleotide metabolism disorder, bile pigment disorder and abnormal secretion of sex hormones.(2)Significant differences were found in four serum metabolizing molecules: docosaentaenoic acid, hydroxy octadecanodienoic acid, dodecanoic acid, and pyridoxal 5-phosphate(p <0.05 accuracy,VIP value > 1).(3)The main metabolic pathways involved by these serum metabolic molecules include fatty acid, carbohydrate and vitamin pathways, which are enriched in KEGG pathway respectively.(4).These metabolites were verified by the area under the ROC curve. Conclusions: Compare the difference of serum metabolites in patients with OSAHS without targeted detection(1).A potential serum metabolic map of OSAHS was found, which could be used to distinguish OSAHS patients from non-OSAHS patients and predict the severity of OSAHS patients.(2)The corresponding metabolic pathways of these metabolic molecules were verified on the KEGG pathway, suggesting the close correlation between different metabolic pathways;(3)Based on the differential changes of serum final metabolites,it is suggested that the potential diagnosis and application value can be found by using metabonomics in the individualized management of OSAHS.There are 7 figures,9 tables and 66 references.
