Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of skin spray dressing combined with mucopolysaccharide polysulfate cream(MPS)in the treatment of hand eczema(mainly subacute skin lesions),and compare it with mometasone furoate cream combined with MPS.Methods:Eighty-eight patients with subacute lesions that met the diagnostic criteria of hand eczema in the dermatological department of the Second Hospital of Jilin University from October 2021 to October 2022 were collected. The relevant clinical data of patients were recorded, and the patients with consent were given patch tests.Patients were randomly divided into two groups: 45 patients in the observation group were treated with skin spray dressing twice a day and MPS twice a day, while 43 patients in the control group were treated with mometasone furoate cream once a day and MPS twice a day.The HECSI score and VAS score at the beginning of treatment,2 weeks after treatment and 4 weeks after treatment were statistically analyzed, and the curative effects of the two groups were observed. The quantitative data conforming to the normal distribution were expressed by the mean±standard deviation((?)±s),and t test was used. The quantitative data nonconforming to the normal distribution were expressed by median(M)and inter-quartile range(IQR),and rank sum test was used.Qualitative data were expressed by rate(%),and chi-square test and Fisher’s exact test were used.P < 0.05 was statistically significant. Results:A total of 88 patients were included.(1)There were 57 females and 31 males, and the ratio of males to females was 1: 1.8;(2)Most patients were 18-29 years of age(30% of the total)followed by 30-39 years of age(25% of the total);(3)Patients’ occupations were diverse, and the top three occupations were students, housewives and staff, accounting for 18%,15% and 12% respectively;(4)A total of 25 patients have atopic qualities, accounting for 28.41%;(5)Women spend more time wearing gloves and touching water with their hands than men every day. There was no significant difference between men and women in daily hand washing times and wet work;(6)24 patients completed the patch tests, and the allergens with high positive rate were sodium fatty acid sulfate, sodium dodecanol sulfate, sodium alkyl alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfate and cobalt chloride;(7)Patients’ skin lesions were mostly in the palm and fingers;(8)There was no clear correlation between wet work or atopic quality and the severity of hand eczema. The severity of hand eczema in women is more serious than that in men;(9)After 2 weeks of drug treatment, the HECSI score and VAS score of patients in the observation group and the control group were lower than those in the initial stage. After 4 weeks of drug treatment, the HECSI score of the two groups was lower than that after 2 weeks of medication. There was no significant change in the VAS score after 4 weeks and 2 weeks in the two groups. There was no significant difference in HECSI score and VAS score between the two groups at the beginning of medication,2 weeks after medication and4 weeks after medication.(10)After 4 weeks of medication, the effective rate of the control group was 93.02%,and that of the observation group was 88.89%.There was no statistical difference between the observation group and the control group, and the the efficacy of the two groups was similar.Conclusions:1.The effective rate(88.89%)of skin spray dressing combined with MPS in treating hand eczema(mainly subacute skin lesions)was lower than that of mometasone furoate cream combined with MPS(93.02%).The two groups of drugs have similar curative effects in the treatment of hand eczema.2.No adverse reactions were observed in the treatment of hand eczema with skin spray dressing and MPS,which showed good safety.
