| Objective:The image quality of nasopharyngeal carcinoma segmented reading multiple excitation diffusion weighted imaging(RESOLVE-DWI)sequence and single excitation planar echo imaging(SS-EPI)sequence were compared,and their effects on the imaging diagnosis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma were evaluated.The correlation between ADC and Ki-67 was also discussed.Material and Methods:From October 2022 to February 2023,43 patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma were admitted to our hospital,including 31 males and 12 females,aged from 26 to 77years,with an average age of 57.48±11.83 years.All patients were diagnosed by biopsy.The imaging examination was performed on Siemens Magnetom Prisma 3.0T magnetic resonance imager.RESOLVE-DWI and SS-EPI-DWI were performed after conventional T1 WI,T2 WI and DCE-MRI scans.The b values of both were 0,800 s/mm~2.DWI images were scored by two senior radiologists with more than 20 years of experience in imaging diagnosis of nasopharyngeal lesions based on the Likert scale.The scores included six aspects:anatomical detail display,image distortion,lesion display,artifacts,lesion edge sharpness,and geometric deformation.Each aspect was divided into 5 levels,corresponding to 1-5 points.DWI image quantitative analysis was performed on the workstation,mainly measuring and analyzing SNR and CNR.The ADC value of each patient was measured and Ki-67 was detected,and then the correlation between the two was analyzed.Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 25.0 software.The consistency of the two observers was analyzed by kappa consistency test.The correlation between ADC and Ki-67 was analyzed by pearson correlation coefficient.The difference of image quality between the two DWI imaging methods was analyzed by Wilcoxon test,and the quantitative difference was analyzed by paired T test.Result:The scores of RESOLVE-DWI were higher than those of SS-EPI DWI in six aspects:anatomical detail display,image distortion,lesion display,artifact,lesion edge sharpness and geometric deformation.The SNR and CNR of RESOLVE-DWI images were also significantly better than those of SS-EPI-DWI images.The CNR value of RESOLVE-DWI images was about 7 times that of SS-EPI DWI images.There was no significant correlation between ADC and Ki-67.Conclusion:In the magnetic resonance examination of nasopharyngeal carcinoma,RESOLVE-DWI was significantly better than SS-EPI-DWI in image quality score,SNR and CNR,indicating that RESOLVE-DWI can significantly improve the imaging quality of nasopharyngeal carcinoma and improve the diagnostic quality.There was no significant correlation between ADC and Ki-67 in nasopharyngeal carcinoma,and the results were inconsistent with most studies of other tumors. |
