| Objective:To study the effect of intra-biliary stent placement during biliary tract reconstruction in liver transplantation on postoperative biliary complications and on recovery of graft liver function, and to assess the clinical value of intraoperative placement of intra-biliary stent tubes in preventing biliary complications in liver transplantation. Methods:The clinical data of liver transplant patients hospitalized in the Department of Transplantation of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University from July2019 to December 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.Based on the intraoperative placement of intra-biliary stent tubes, the patients were divided into a stent group(50cases)and a non-stent group(43 cases). The occurrence of postoperative biliary complications, postoperative recovery of transplanted liver function, retention of intrabiliary stents and complication related to removal of intrabiliary stents were compared between the two groups.Statistical analysis was performed using the statistical software SPSS 26.0,and the results were expressed as mean ± standard deviation(X ± SD)or median(interquartile spacing),and "P<0.05" indicated that the results were statistically different.Results:1.There was no statistical difference in the incidence of biliary complications between patients in the stented and non-stented groups(P > 0.05).The incidence of bile duct anastomotic stricture was significantly lower in the stented group than in the non-stented group(P < 0.05).No statistical differences were observed in the incidence of bile duct stones, bile duct non-anastomotic stricture, and bile leakage between the stented and non-stented groups(P > 0.05).2.The recovery time of transaminase in the stent group was earlier than that in the non-biliary stent group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).3.No significant bile duct related complications were observed in the stent group during indwelling of bile duct stents.4.Some patients in the stent group had complications such as abnormal liver function, fever, pancreatitis and biliary tract infection resulting from biliary duct stent removal.Conclusions:1.Intraoperative placement of bile duct stents could reduce the incidence of postoperative bile duct anastomotic stenosis in liver transplantation.2.Intraoperative placement of intra-biliary stents was helpful for liver transplant recovery of liver function.3.There were no significant stent-related complications during indwelling biliary duct stents.4.There were some complications for endoscopic biliary stent removal, and the postoperative condition of patients should be closely monitored after stent removement. |
