Objective:To investigate the impacts of 131 I therapy combined with thyroid hormone suppression therapy on bone metabolism in female patients with differentiated thyroid cancer.Method:From January 2017 to December 2017,DTC women admitted to our department for 131 I treatment were divided into medium-high risk female patients with recurrence risk and were divided into pre-menopausal treatment group(30 cases)and menopausal treatment group(33 cases). And 60 healthy women of different ages were randomly selected from the physical examination center of our hospital. All patients in the treatment group were treated with TSH inhibition after thyroidectomy and removal of residual thyroid tissue by 131 I.Bone mineral density,PTH,TSH and other related indexes of bone metabolism were detected. The levels of age,PTH,TSH,ALP,blood calcium and bilateral femoral neck bone density were compared in different age groups.Result : It’s concluded that before treatment, there was a statistically significant difference in the age level between the two groups(P<0.05),but there was no statistically significant difference in the levels of PTH,TSH,A-TG,TG,ALP,blood calcium, and bilateral femoral neck bone density(P > 0.05).Whilst after treatment, there were no significant changes in PTH,TSH,and blood calcium levels in the two groups(P>0.05);while ALP and bilateral femoral neck bone mineral density levels were statistically significant(P >0.05).Conclusion:Postmenopausal women with differentiated thyroid cancer have increased ALP levels, active bone metabolism, and decreased bone mineral density after surgery,131 I therapy, and TSH suppression therapy.Long-term TSH inhibition therapy will have certain effects on bone metabolism in postmenopausal female patients, which should be paid close attention in follow-up,especially to improve the quality of life in postmenopausal female patients with differentiated thyroid cancer 131 I after treatment,so as to provide objective evidence.
