Objective Combined with the current situation of clinical treatment of functional constipation, the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with biofeedback in the treatment of FC was observed, and the clinical efficacy of different treatment methods was compared.By analyzing the score of constipation symptoms, quality of life scale of constipation patients, anorectal manometry index, safety and total curative effect of the treatment group and the control group after treatment,to explore the clinical effective and feasible methods for the treatment of FC,provide a certain scientific basis for the clinical treatment of FC,and provide a more convenient and effective method for the clinical treatment of FC.Methods A total of 60 FC patients who met the inclusion criteria were treated in the outpatient and inpatient departments of Jingmen Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2021 to December 2022,and the case information was entered into Excel to form a database. They were divided into acupuncture combined with biofeedback therapy group(treatment group)and conventional biofeedback therapy group(control group),with 30 cases in each group. The patients were followed up and evaluated before treatment,at the end of the treatment cycle and 1 month after treatment. The observation indicators included the quality of life scale of constipation patients, the score of constipation symptoms, anorectal manometry indicators and safety evaluation. Finally, the long-term clinical efficacy of the two groups in the treatment of FC was compared.Results(1)The general data of the two groups of patients were not statistically significant(P > 0.05);(2)The score of constipation symptoms in the treatment group was better than that in the control group after the end of the treatment cycle and 1 month of treatment, with statistical significance(P<0.05);(3)The score of quality of life in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group after the end of the treatment cycle and 1 month of treatment(P<0.05);(4)Compared with the anorectal manometry indexes of the two groups, the data of patients in the treatment group after the end of the treatment cycle and after 1 month of treatment were better than those in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05);(5)There was no significant difference in safety between the two groups(P > 0.05);(6)The long-term total efficacy of the two groups was significantly higher in the treatment group(93.33%)than in the control group(70.00%)(P<0.05).Conclusion During the treatment of patients with functional constipation, acupuncture combined with biofeedback treatment can fully improve the clinical symptoms of patients and improve their quality of life. Its long-term clinical effect is very significant and its safety is high.
