| Objectives:(1)To understand the current status of adverse symptoms, activity function, and social relationships in patients with postoperative double J-tube for urolithiasis surgery.(2)Analysis of factors influencing adverse symptoms in patients with double J-tube after urolithiasis surgery.(3)To analyze and discuss the correlations among the adverse symptoms, activity function and social relationship of postoperative double J tubeMethods:This study utilizes a convenience sample,in which 212 patients with postoperative of double J-tubes for urolithiasis were selected from December 2021 to December 2022 at three hospitals in Yan’an and Xi’an.The general information questionnaire, the adverse symptoms USSQ scale, the activity functioning ADL scale, and the social relationship scale SRQS were used to investigate. The data were using SPSS 25.0 software, general data were described by frequency(n)and composition ratio(%).Adverse symptoms were described by(±S),activity functioning were described by frequency(n)and composition ratio(%),social relations were described by M(P25,P75).Differences in total adverse symptom scores for general data were analyzed using t-test and ANOVA the factors influencing the adverse symptoms in patients with postoperative double J-tube were analyzed by multiple linear regression. The correlations among the adverse symptoms, activity function and social relationship of postoperative double J tube using Spearman’s correlation analysisResults:(1)Total of 212 patients were included in the study,89.1%of them reported discomfort in urination during the indwelling double J tube, the most common adverse symptoms of double J-tube were pain, leakage urination and incomplete urination in the urethra with a percentage of 91.04%,78.30%and 77.36%,with a mean pain score of(3.12±1.09)points.(2)The rate of decline in activity function in patients with postoperative double J-tube was 46.70%(99/212),including 30.66%(65/212)and 43.87%(93/212)for physical self-care and instrumental self-care ability.(3)The social relationship scores of patients with postoperative double J-tube ranged from 29 to 48,a mean value of 40.00,with a mean scores of 11.22,12.36,and 16.43 for each dimension of family closeness, family commitment, and friendships.(4)T-test and ANOVA showed significant differences(P<0.05)for seven variables:gender, age, marital status, literacy levels, body mass index, daily water intake, and retention time.(5)Multiple linear regression showed that literate levels, duration of retention, daily water intake, and total SRQS score were the factors influencing the adverse symptoms of postoperative double-J tube placement.(6)Spearman’s correlation analysis showed that ureteral stent syndrome score, urinary symptoms, physical pain, and general health were significantly positively correlated with activity function and each dimension(P<0.05);ureteral stent syndrome score and urinary symptoms, physical pain were significantly negatively correlated with social relationship(P<0.05);except for somatic self-care ability, total activity function score of patients and Instrumental self-care ability was significantly negatively correlated with the social relationship score and each dimension(P<0.01).Conclusions:(1)Patients with postoperative double J-tube had more severe adverse symptoms,Pain, leakage and dysuria are the main causes, decreased activity function, and moderate social relationship scores.(2)The adverse symptoms of patients with postoperative double J tube were related to literate levels, duration of retention, daily water intake and social relationships, suggesting that clinical workers should focus on them.(3)Adverse symptoms, activity function and social relationship of patients with double J tube after urolithiasis surgery, with pairwise correlation among the three, the more severe the adverse symptoms, the lower the activity ability and the worse the social relationship. |
