Purpose:To explore the correlation between hs-CRP and MMP-9 and WMH,and to find the risk factors of WMH and its severity,in order to delay the occurrence and development of the disease by controlling its risk factors,so as to provide direction for the prevention and treatment of WMH.method:The clinical hospitalization data of 91 patients who were hospitalized in the Department of Neurology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Hebei North University from January 2021 to June 2021 and met the inclusion and exclusion criteria of this study were collected,and the levels of hs-CRP and MMP-9 in peripheral blood and other relevant biochemical indexes were detected;According to Fazekas scale,the head MRI results of all patients were graded.32 patients without WMH were used as the control group and 59 patients with WMH were used as the study group.The study group was divided into 20 cases of mild WMH group,18 cases of moderate WMH group and 21 cases of severe WMH group;Through the comparison between the study group and the control group,as well as the comparison between the study groups,compare the correlation between hs-CRP,MMP-9 and other factors and WMH,and finally draw a conclusion.The above data shall be applied to spss20 0 for statistical analysis.If P < 0.05,the difference is statistically significant.result:1.There were significant statistical differences between the research group and the control group in the levels of hs-CRP(t =-10.293,P =0.000)and MMP-9(t =-2.345,P = 0.021)(see Figure 1 and table 1).In addition,there was significant difference in age,hypertension,diabetes and HCY between the two groups(P < 0.05),but there was no significant difference in gender,smoking,LDL,UA,ALP,FIB and TC between the two groups(P > 0.05).2.Taking the existence of WMH as the dependent variable and the above statistically significant factors as the independent variables,through regression analysis,it is found that hs-CRP,MMP-9,Hcy,age and hypertension are the risk factors of WMH(see Figure 5 and table 2).hs-CRP and age are independent risk factors for WMH(see Table 3).3.The comparison between the research groups showed that there were significant differences in hs-CRP(F = 4.498,P = 0.015)and MMP-9(F = 4.269,P = 0.019)among the groups(see Table 4).Further pairwise comparison: there was significant difference in hs-CRP between mild WMH group and severe WMH group(P = 0.004),see(Figure 2).There were significant differences in MMP-9 between mild WMH group and moderate WMH group(P = 0.031)and between mild WMH group and severe WMH group(P = 0.008)(see Figure 3).In addition,there were also significant differences in age and Hcy between subgroups(P < 0.05).4.Taking the severity of WMH as the dependent variable and the risk factors of WMH as the independent variables,the regression analysis found that hs-CRP,MMP-9,Hcy and age are the risk factors of WMH severity,among which hs-CRP and age are the independent risk factors of WMH severity(see Figure 6,table 5 and table 6).5.Through regression analysis and ROC curve drawn for hs-CRP and MMP-9,it is found that although hs-CRP and MMP-9 both affect the occurrence of WMH,the effect of hs-CRP on WMH(OR = 16.297,P =0.000)is significantly higher than that of MMP-9 on WMH(OR = 1.003,P = 0.025)(see Table 2).Both have diagnostic value for WMH,but hs-CRP(AUC = 0.947,P = 0.000)is significantly better than MMP-9(AUC = 0.664,P = 0.010),which indicates that the increase of hs-CRP may have a greater impact on the occurrence of WMH(see Figure 4 and table 7).Conclusion:1.hs-CRP,MMP-9,Hcy,age and hypertension are the risk factors of WMH,among which hs-CRP and age are the independent risk factors of WMH.2.hs-CRP,MMP-9,Hcy and age are the risk factors of WMH severity,among which hs-CRP and age are the independent risk factors of WMH severity.3.Compared with MMP-9,the increase of hs-CRP may have a greater impact on the occurrence of WMH.
