Objective: By adopting two experimental paradigms of directed forgetting,the itemmethod and the list-method,to explore the DF effect of suicidal ideationers of college students on emotional face pictures compared with normal college students,and to analyze the cognitive inhibition mechanism and emotional memory characteristics of suicide ideationers.Methods:(1)The Chinese version of the Beck Suicide Ideation Scale(BSI-CV)questionnaire was distributed to a certain university in Tianjin to screen the subjects.(2)According to the BSI-CV standard,55 subjects in the suicidal ideation group and 60 subjects in the normal group were selected to enter the formal experiment.(3)Research1 uses the item-method paradigm to conduct directed forgetting research,which is divided into two experiments: Experiment 1a uses emotional face pictures as experimental materials,and uses 2(instruction type: remember/forget)× 3(emotional faces: joy/calm/sad)In-subject experiment design,to explore the directional forgetting effect of normal college students under the item-method paradigm;Experiment 1b uses emotional face pictures as experimental materials,using 2(instruction type:remember/forget)× 3(emotional faces: joy/calm /sad)In-subject experimental design to explore the targeted forgetting effect of suicidal ideation group students under the item-method paradigm.(4)Study 2 uses the list-paradigm to conduct directed forgetting research,which is divided into two experiments: Experiment 2a uses emotional face pictures as experimental materials,and uses 2(instruction type: remember/forget)×3(emotional faces: joy/calm /sad)In-subject experiment design,to explore the directional forgetting effect of normal college students under the word list paradigm;Experiment 2b uses emotional face pictures as the experimental material,using 2(instruction type: remember/forget)× 3(emotional faces: joy /calm/sad)In-subject experiment design to explore the directed forgetting effect of suicidal ideation group under the-list paradigm.Results: The recognition accuracy rate of the subject in the recognition test is the dependent variable,and repeated measurement analysis of variance was performed respectively.The results showed:(1)In Study 1,the main effect of instruction type in the normal control group was significant,the main effect of emotional face was significant,and the interaction between instruction type and emotional face was significant;the main effect of emotional face in suicide ideation group was significant,and the interaction between instruction type and emotional face was not significant.(2)In Study 2,the main effect of instruction type and emotional face in the normal control group were significant,and the interaction between command type and emotional face was not significant;the main effect of emotional face in the suicide ideation group was significant,and the other results were not significant.In addition,the results of the comprehensive analysis showed:(3)There was no significant difference in the total recognition rate between the two groups.(4)Under the two experimental paradigms,the directed forgetting effect of the suicide ideation group was weaker than that of the normal control group,and the difference in the directed forgetting effect of the two groups under the list-paradigm was greater than the difference under the item-paradigm.Conclusion:(1)The existence of suicidal ideation does not lead to a decrease in individual memory level.(2)The directed forgetting ability of college students with suicidal ideation is weaker than that of the normal control group,and there is the impairment of cognitive inhibition in suicidal ideationers.(3)Normal university students have a memory bias towards happy face pictures;while suicidal ideationers do not have a memory bias towards sad faces,and may have difficulties in emotional regulation.(4)The directed forgetting effect of the suicidal ideationers of college students under the two paradigms is weaker than that of the normal control group,and the difference in the directed forgetting effect of the two groups under the word list paradigm is greater.The cognitive inhibition impairment of suicidal ideationers occurs in extraction stage.
