| Background As the patients with cerebral infarction take the risk of high disability rate and high recurrence rate,it’s easy for them to generate kinds of negative emotions. If the patients with negative emotions can’t get an outlet for a long time, their health will be seriously affected. At present, effective intervention should be explored urgently. The application of narrative therapy in medicine offers new methods for the psychotherapy of cerebral infarction.Purpose The purpose of the study is to explore the influence of narrative therapy on negative emotions in patients with cerebral infarction, and search for the effective measures to reduce the negative emotions of the patients with cerebral infarction. Methods 120 cases were selected from the patients with cerebral infarction in acute phase(6h<onset time<48h)according to the selected and exclusion criteria. They were divided into a matched group and an intervention group at random,60 cases for each group. Before intervention, made a baseline assessment in line with survey on general data,Positive and negative emotions Schedule(PANAS),Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS),The National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS).The matched group were treated and nursed according to routine medical treatment. The intervention group were intervened with narrative therapy on the basis of routine medical treatment. The narrative therapy was conducted in the form of interview, twice a week,4weeks as a period. The negative emotions was evaluated by Positive and negative emotions Schedule(PANAS),Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS),Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)in 4 and 8 weeks respectively, the patients’ neurologic impairment was evaluated by The National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS),then evaluate the intervention effect.Chi-square test and two independent sample t test were used to analyze the data with SPSS25.0 software.Taking a=0.05 as the test standard, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)to evaluate the influence of narrative therapy on negative emotions in patients with cerebral infarction. Results 1.4 lost cases were eliminated,2 cases for each group, finally, there were 116 effective cases in total,58 cases for the intervention group,58 cases for the matched group.Compared with the general data from these two groups of patients, there was no significant difference on statistics(P>0.05),it’s comparable.2.The comparison among PANAS,SAS,SDS and NIHSS: Before the intervention, there was no significant difference(P>0.05)on the scores among PANAS,SAS,SDS and NIHSS for these two groups of study objects, they were comparable.3.After 4 weeks of intervention, the positive scores in PANAS for the study objects in these 2 groups rised up compared with the scores before intervention, but the scores for the intervention group rised more remarkably, there were significant differences between two groups(P<0.05);the negative scores in PANAS and the scores in SAS and SDS were lower compared with the scores before intervention, but the scores of the intervention group reduced more remarkably, there were significant differences between two groups(P<0.05);the scores in NIHSS were lower than before, but there was no significant differences between two groups(P>0.05).4.After 8 weeks of intervention, the positive scores in PANAS for the study objects rised up compared with the scores before intervention and the scores for 4-week intervention, but the scores in intervention group rised up remarkably, there were significant differences between two groups(P<0.05);the negative scores in PANAS and the scores in SAS and SDS lowed down compared with the scores before intervention and the scores for 4-week intervention, but the intervention group reduced obviously, there were significant differences between two groups(P<0.05);there was no significant difference between two groups in NIHSS(P>0.05).Conclusion 1.The narrative therapy can reduce the negative emotions of the patients with cerebral infarction.2.The narrative therapy has no obvious improvement on the neurologic impairment of the patients with cerebral infarction. |
