Collation Of Ancient And Modern Documents On The Indications Of The Large Intestine Meridian In Yangming Dynasty

Objective: To sort out and study the indications of acupoints on the large intestine meridian of Yangming dynasty by using the method of philology,to sort out the relatively complete documents on the indications of 20 acupoints on the large intestine meridian,to explore the changes in the relationship between clinical and theoretical contents of the relevant contents,and to construct the relatively complete indications of acupoints,so as to provide the documentary basis for clinical syndrome differentiation and theoretical exploration.Methods: The research subjects were sorted out and discussed by the method of documentary studies.Nine ancient books and monographs of acupuncture and moxibustion which were the most representative in the history of the development of TCM acupuncture and moxibustion in ancient China and six textbooks of acupuncture and moxibustion compiled by TCM colleges were selected,and the contents of the contents on the large intestine and acupoints of the hand Yangming dynasty were consulted,summarized and integrated one by one.See "Common Examples" for specific research forms.Results: The indications of acupoints on the large intestine meridian and related problems of the Yangming dynasty were collected and sorted initially,and the indications of the acupoints on the meridian were classified and sorted out in general,and the questions were raised on the indications of the acupoints found among them by comparing ancient books and modern teaching materials in the past dynasties,and discussed.Conclusions: 1.In ancient and modern literature,the top three main treatment sites in addition to the same upper limbs,head and face,ancient indications paid more attention to the chest and lung system diseases,mostly used for the treatment of asthma,cough,cough against the upper qi,chest full,chest swelling;Modern textbooks focus more on the treatment of abdominal and intestinal diseases,often used in abdominal pain,bowel,abdominal distension,diarrhea.2.In addition to the indications that can be classified into the body parts,"other indications" in ancient and modern literature all take stroke and hemiplegia as the main treatment objects of hand-yangming large intestine meridian,which provides a certain reference basis for the clinical treatment of hemiplegia external meridian diseases acupoint selection.3.The indications of lung system diseases and external meridian diseases focused on in ancient literature are in line with the characteristics of ancient and modern evolution of the indications of Shou Yangming meridian points and the characteristics of external and internal points selection,that is,the indications of intestinal and fu-fu diseases of large intestine meridian are mostly attributed to the indications of the lower combined points(Shangjuxu)and mu points(Tianshu)of the stomach meridian of Foot Yangming.
