Clinical Study Of Simiaoyong An Decoction Combined With Jinhuang Ointment In The Treatment Of Acute Gouty Arthritis Caused By Dampness And Heat

Objective: To use Jiawei Simiaoyong An decoction combined with jinhuang ointment in the treatment of damp-heat acute gouty arthritis and to analyze its clinical efficacy and safety,and to explore effective and safe treatment methods.Methods: Eighty patients with damp-heat acute gouty arthritis were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 40 cases each.The treatment group was treated with modified Simiaoyong ’an decoction combined with jinhuang ointment,while the control group was treated with celeroxib and feburestat.Both groups were treated for 7 days.C-reactive protein,erythrocyte sedimentation,blood uric acid,TCM syndrome score,visual analogue scale(VAS),liver and kidney function and pain relief time after treatment were compared between the two groups before and after treatment,and statistical analysis was performed.To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Simiaoyong An Decoction combined with jinhuang ointment in the treatment of acute gouty arthritis.Results:1.Comparison before and after treatment between the two groups: pain VAS score,TCM symptom score,CRP,BUA,ESR and other indicators in the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment,with statistical significance(P < 0.05),suggesting that the treatment schemes were effective.2.Comparison before and after treatment between the two groups:(1)Total score of TCM syndrome: total score of TCM syndrome between the two groups before treatment,there was no statistical significance(P > 0.05);after treatment,total score of TCM syndrome in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05);(2)duration of joint pain relief: duration of relief in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).(3)VAS score: There was no significant difference in VAS score between the two groups before treatment(P > 0.05).After treatment,VAS score of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).(4)BUA level: Before treatment,there was no significant difference in BUA level between the two groups(P > 0.05).After treatment,BUA level in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).(5)CRP and ESR levels: Before treatment,there was no significant difference in CRP and ESR indexes between the two groups(P > 0.05),and after treatment,CRP and ESR indexes in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).(6)Clinical efficacy: the total effective rate of the treatment group was 95%;The total effective rate of control group was 75%.The clinical effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).3.The vital signs of the two groups were stable before and after treatment,there were no obvious abnormalities in the three routine procedures,and there were no significant differences in ALT,AST,BUN and SCr before and after treatment.No significant adverse events such as gastrointestinal tract were observed,suggesting that the safety of the treatment scheme in this study was reasonable.Conclusion(s):1.Simiaoyong An Decoction combined with jinhuang ointment can significantly improve the TCM syndromes and pain degree of patients with acute gouty arthritis,reduce erythrocyte deposit and C-reactive protein,and the therapeutic effect is better than that of Western medicine alone.2.Simiaoyong An decoction combined with jinhuang ointment therapy can reduce the blood uric acid level of patients with acute gouty arthritis,and the safety is good.3.Simiaoyong An decoction combined with jinhuang ointment therapy can effectively reduce the duration of pain in acute stage of uric acid treatment.
