| Objective: This study was to compare the clinical efficacy of Longsha Kaihe Six-Qi Acupuncture and oral Eperisone Hydrochloride in the treatment of chronic tension headache. Methods: Sixty patients with chronic tension headache were selected from the acupuncture and moxibustion department, encephalopathy department, geriatric department,pre-treatment clinic and ward of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine as the study subjects. The time span was from Decembet 2021 to August 2022.The selected subjects met the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria of this topic. They were randomly divided into observation group and control group by using a random number table at a ratio of 1:1,with 30 patients in each group.(1)The control group was treated with 50 mg of eperisone hydrochloride tablets, one tablet each time, three times a day.(2)The observation group was treated with dragon sand opening and closing six-qi acupuncture. The specific operation was as follows: take Baihui as the meridian guide needle, draw a circle with a diameter of 5 cm,select Shaoyang and Jueyin areas, and puncture5~10 mm clockwise along the circle tangent line at a 15 ° angle with the skin, without applying the method of reinforcing and reducing, and press the needle out with a cotton swab after 30 minutes of needle retention.Once every other day and three times a week. The above two groups were treated continuously for 4 weeks. The comprehensive headache scale(including headache attack degree, duration, attack frequency and concomitant symptoms),the MOS item short from health survey(SF-36)and Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)of the two groups of patients were evaluated before and after treatment, and the data were recorded and statistically analyzed to observe the clinical efficacy.Results:1.Baseline comparison: before treatment, there was no statistical significance(P>0.05)between the two groups in terms of gender, age, course of disease and other general data of chronic tension headache patients, headache comprehensive scale score(including headache attack degree, duration, attack frequency and accompanying symptoms),SF-36 score and HAMA score, and the baseline comparison was comparable.2.Comparison of clinical efficacy: After treatment, the clinical efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).3.Comparison of comprehensive headache scale scores of patients in the two groups: after treatment, the total score of comprehensive headache scale, the degree of headache attack, the duration of headache and the frequency of headache attack of patients in the two groups were lower than those before treatment(all P<0.05);In terms of the accompanying symptoms of headache attack, the score of the control group did not decrease significantly(P>0.05);The score of the observation group was significantly lower(P<0.05);Compared with the control group, the total score of headache comprehensive scale and the score of headache attack degree, headache duration, attack frequency and accompanying symptoms in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).4.Comparison of SF-36 scores between the two groups: after treatment, the SF-36 scores of the two groups increased compared with those before treatment(P<0.05);Compared with the control group, the increase of SF-36 score in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).5.Comparison of HAMA scores between the two groups: after treatment, the HAMA scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),while the HAMA scores of the control group were not statistically different from those before treatment(P>0.05);The HAMA score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion(s): Longsha open and close six-qi acupuncture has a good clinical effect in the treatment of chronic tension headache. It is superior to Eperisone Hydrochloride Tablets in improving the degree of headache attack, duration of headache, frequency of attack and accompanying symptoms, improving the quality of life and improving the anxiety of patients. |
