Objective: In this study,self-designed Penkang Decoction combined with biofeedback electrical stimulation was used to treat postpartum pelvic floor dysfunction of Qi-deficiency type.By observing the improvement of symptoms and signs of patients, the clinical efficacy of this program was objectively evaluated, providing more clinical research basis for the treatment of postpartum pelvic floor dysfunction by integrated Chinese and western medicine. Methods: A total of 66 patients who met the inclusion criteria in the obstetrics clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to December 2022were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 33 cases in each group. The control group was treated with biofeedback electrical stimulation, and the observation group was treated with self-made Bunkang decoction on the basis of the control group. Both groups were treated for 5 weeks. Before and after treatment, vaginal dynamic pressure, pelvic floor muscle fiber strength of type I and type II muscle, pelvic floor dysfunction questionnaire score, pelvic floor muscle strength measured by hand, pelvic organ prolapse quantitative stage of each landmark point, and TCM syndrome score were recorded and statistically analyzed. Results: 1.Vaginal dynamic pressure: the vaginal dynamic pressure of the two groups after treatment was significantly higher than that before treatment(P < 0.05),and the improvement in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P < 0.05).2.Pelvic floor muscle fiber strength of type I and II muscle and pelvic floor muscle strength measured by hand: after treatment, the muscle strength of type I and II muscle fiber and pelvic floor muscle strength measured by hand in the two groups were significantly higher than those before treatment(P < 0.05),and the improvement in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P < 0.05).3.Pelvic floor dysfunction questionnaire score: after treatment, the scores of pelvic floor dysfunction questionnaire in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P < 0.05),and the reduction in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P < 0.05).4.The degree of prolapse according to the markers in the quantitative stage of pelvic organ prolapse: After treatment, the prolapse degree of the anterior vaginal wall prolapse(Aa and Ba),posterior vaginal wall prolapse(Ap and Bp)and uterine prolapse(C and D)in the two groups were significantly lower than before(P < 0.05),and the reduction in the observation group was greater than that in the control group(P <0.05).5.TCM syndrome scores:(1)Compared before treatment, the total TCM syndrome scores after treatment were decreased in the two groups(P < 0.05),and the reduction in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P < 0.05).(2)After treatment, the scores of TCM syndromes in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P < 0.05).Among them, the observation group was significantly better than the control group in reducing fatigue, urination, spontaneous sweating, shortness of breath, urination frequency scores(P < 0.05);There was no significant difference in the improvement of abdominal distension and lazy speech scores between the two groups(P > 0.05).6.Clinical efficacy analysis: after 5 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was 93.75%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 81.82%,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The self-made Bunkang decoction combined with biofeedback electrical stimulation is more effective in the treatment of postpartum pelvic floor dysfunction of qi deficiency.7.Safety evaluation: During the study, there were no adverse reactions in the observation group and the control group, and all the relevant safety indicators(blood, urine and stool routine, liver and kidney function, electrocardiogram)of all subjects were detected after treatment, and the results were normal. Conclusion: Self-designed Penkang Decoction combined with biofeedback electrical stimulation in the treatment of postpartum pelvic floor dysfunction of Qi-deficiency type has definite clinical efficacy and low side effects, which is worthy of clinical application.
