Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Chronic Perianal Eczema By Combining Dangguixiaofeng Decoction With Fluticasone Propionate Cream

Objective: The clinical efficacy of the external treatment of chronic perianal eczema with Dangguixiaofeng Decoction was observed through clinical cases to explore new ideas for the clinical treatment of chronic perianal eczema.Methods: Sixty-four patients who attended our outpatient clinic and met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into a control group and a treatment group,with 32 patients in each group.The control group was treated with external application of fluticasone propionate cream,while the treatment group was treated with external washings of Dangguixiaofeng Decoction and external application of fluticasone propionate cream.After 2weeks of treatment,the indicators of the two groups were compared before and after 2 weeks of treatment,with statistical analysis of the degree of pruritus,duration of pruritus,sensation of anal dampness,morphology of lesions(papules,lichenification,epidermal peeling)and dermatological quality of life scores.All data were statistically analysed using SPSS 25.0 software.Results: When comparing the treatment and control groups in terms of age,gender,duration of illness,degree of pruritus,duration of pruritus,sensation of anal dampness,morphology of lesions and dermatological quality of life scores before treatment,the p-values were greater than 0.05 and were not statistically significant.After 2 weeks of treatment,intra-group and inter-group comparisons were made between the control group and the treatment group with regard to the degree of itching,duration of itching,lesion morphology and other observed indicators.The overall scores of the treatment group were lower than those of the control group,indicating that the treatment group had more obvious treatment effects.The overall effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group at the end of treatment(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.At the end of treatment,after a 3-month follow-up,the recurrence rate of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group(P < 0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.Both the treatment and control groups did not experience any adverse effects during the course of treatment.Conclusions: The treatment of chronic perianal eczema patients with blood deficiency and wind dryness with Angelica Anti-Feng Tang can effectively relieve the degree of pruritus,shorten the duration of pruritus,improve the feeling of anal dampness,improve the morphology of the patient’s lesions(papules,mossiness,epidermal peeling)and also improve the patient’s quality of life without any adverse effects,and is worthy of application and promotion in clinical practice.
