Clinical Efficacy Of Fujian Mixture Combined With Donepezil Hydrochloride On Senile Dementia With Liver-Kidney Yin Deficiency Type

Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of Fujian mixture combined with Donepezil hydrochloride in the treatment of senile dementia with liver and kidney Yin deficiency,and to provide a basis for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of senile dementia.Methods:A total of 64 patients who met the criteria were included in this study.The patients were randomly divided into control group and treatment group with 32 patients in each group using random number table method.The control group was given donepezil hydrochloride orally,while the treatment group was given Fujian mixture,a traditional Chinese medicine preparation,on the basis of the control group,and insisted on treatment for 3 courses(90 days in total).The changes of MMSE scale,CDR scale,specific serum indicators and TCM syndrome score of the two groups were evaluated before and after treatment.Results:1.After treatment,TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were decreased by comparison,and the treatment group was better,the difference before and after treatment have a remarkable effect(P<0.05).2.In terms of the evaluation of the efficacy of TCM syndromes,the TCM syndromes of the two groups were improved after treatment compared with before treatment.The total effective rate of the treatment group was 86%.and the curative effect of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group(the total effective rate was 70%).3.In terms of scale score comparison,the MMSE and CDR scale evaluation of the two groups were significantly improved in the intra-group comparison compared with before treatment(P < 0.05).After treatment,inter-group comparison found that the scale score of the two groups was better than that of the control group(P < 0.05).4.In terms of specific serum indexes,the serum concentration of P-TAu181 in 2 groups decreased after treatment,the treatment group was better than the control group,and the comparison difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),the serum Aβ42 concentration level was higher than before treatment,the treatment group was better than the control group,and the comparison difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P <0.05).5.No significant abnormality was found in the safety indexes of the two groups before and after treatment.Conclusion: The TCM symptom scores,MMSE,CDR scale scores,and concentration levels of specific serum indexes of the two groups were significantly changed after treatment,suggesting that the clinical efficacy of Fujian mixture combined with Donepezil hydrochloride in the treatment of senile dementia of liver and kidney Yin deficiency type was significantly better than that of the control group only using Donepezil hydrochloride,and the combination of the two can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of the patients.It can delay the progression of the disease and provide a basis for the clinical treatment of senile dementia with Yin deficiency of liver and kidney.
