Clinical Study On Lianxia Huazhuo Decoction In Treating Obesity Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus With Phlegm Dampness And Heat Stagnation Type

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Lianxia Huazhuo Decoction in the treatment of obesity type 2 diabetes mellitus with phlegm-dampness stagnation-heat type,to provide diagnostic and therapeutic ideas for the treatment of obese type 2 diabetes mellitus with traditional Chinese medicine,and to provide data support for its clinical application.Methods:The completed cases were divided into test and control groups,with 32 cases in each group.Both groups were given general treatment,the control group was treated with the metformin hydrochloride tablets and the test group was treated with Lianxia Huazhuo Decoction on the basis of the control group.In this study,4 patients did not meet the inclusion criteria,and 60 completed cases were randomized into 2 groups with 30 patients in each group.Statistically analyzed fasting blood glucose(FPG),blood glucose 2 hours after breakfast(2h PG),glycated hemoglobin(Hb A1c),body weight,body weight index(BMI),WC,waist circumference,total cholesterol(TC),low density lipoprotein(LDL-C),and TCM symptom points of the two groups before and after treatment.Results:1.The blood glucose,obesity and lipid indexes of the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment(P <0.05),and the improvement of the test group was better than that of the control group(P <0.05);2.TCM syndrome scores in both groups decreased compared with before treatment(P <0.05),The test group improved better than the control group in body obesity,abdominal distension,thirst,drinking,head and body sleepiness,fatigue,and uncomfortable stool(P <0.05);No improvement in the two groups in upset,chest distress,excessive food and hunger(P> 0.05);In terms of the efficacy of TCM syndrome,The total response rate of the test group(90.00%)was better than the total response rate of the control group(66.67%)(P <0.05);3.In terms of safety indicators,During the study period,Safety measures were not significantly abnormal in both groups,The treatment process is safer.Conclusion:Lianxia Huazhuo Decoction has a significant effect on the treatment of obesity type 2 diabetes mellitus with phlegm dampness and heat stagnation type and has no obvious adverse reactions.It is worthy of clinical application and further study to explore its internal biological mechanism.
