| This research aims at exploring the positive effect of using singing therapy on the rehabilitation effect of stroke patients with motor aphasia.Guided by the theory of music therapy in neurology, the thinking and analysis on the pathogenesis of stroke patients with motor aphasia, common methods and techniques, and the three effects of singing therapy are conducted. Finally, eight subjects(N=8)are chosen to take part in this experimental study,in which the subjects are randomly divided into experimental group(N=4)and control group(N=4).The form of individual music therapy is adopted for the experimental group, which is respectively intervened by singing therapy. The evaluation of six subjective observation indexes is conducted after the intervention. The control group is not subject to the intervention by singing therapy, its data contrast and objective observation scale evaluation are conducted only before and after the intervention of the experimental group. Finally, the jointly evaluation on the effectiveness and generalization of singing therapy for stroke patients with motor aphasia is conducted by using the data obtained from the subjective and objective scales. The authors move from theoretical foundations of music therapy and medicine to practical studies of singing therapy and then to theoretical summaries and reflections in order to examine and test the positive effects of singing therapy on stroke patients with motor aphasia and whether such positive effects can be generalised to everyday life.It is not only a proof of singing therapy’s efficacy as a methodological tool, but also a theoretical reflection on the specific use of singing therapy in stroke aphasia.Hence,it expands the use of singing therapy and provides evidence-based research for clinical medical treatment regimens. |
