| Objective:To observe the clinical effect of stubborn facial paralysis by body acupuncture based on the theory of "Anshen and Tiaoqi”with Conventional Acupuncture,and to provide a new idea for the future clinical treatment of stubborn facial paralysis.Methods:Sixty patients with stubborn facial paralysis were selected and divided into two groups randomly:the treatment group(conventional acupuncture with the theory of "Anshen and Tiaoqi”)and the control group(conventional acupuncture).The acupuncture manipulation,needle retention time and course of treatment were the same in this two groups.The changes in the scores of House Brackmann facial nerve function assessment scale(H-B),Sunnybrook facial nerve evaluation system and the self-rating depression scale were recorded before and after treatment.The results were statistically analyzed by SPSS26.0.Results:The total effective rates of the two groups were 93.33%and 80.00%respectively after treatment.Both groups have a certain effect on the treatment of stubborn facial paralysis.The evaluation of facial nerve function between the two groups was improved by rank sum test(P<0.05).The scores of Sunnybrook system and depression self-evaluation scale were significantly improved by independent sample t test(P<0.01).The overall efficacy of the two groups was different(P<0.05).Conclusion:The body acupuncture based on the theory of "Anshen and Tiaoqi"with Conventional Acupuncture can improve its clinical efficacy,and it has excellent performance in improving facial nerve function,symptoms and signs and psychological status of patients,which is worthy of clinical application. |
