Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Left Atrial Enlargement Caused By Essential Hypertension With Self-made Modified Zexie Decoction

Object: Observing the antihypertensive effect of self-made modified Zexie decoction on primary hypertension with left atrial enlargement and its clinical efficacy in improving left atrial enlargement,and preliminarily exploring its mechanism of action,providing new ideas and references for the treatment of primary hypertension with left atrial enlargement with traditional Chinese medicine.Methods: According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,60 patients with primary hypertension of kidney qi deficiency and phlegm obstruction type accompanied by left atrial enlargement who signed an informed consent form were collected and randomly divided into a control group and a treatment group,with30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional Western medicine,while the treatment group was treated with Jiawei Zexie Tang on the basis of conventional Western medicine,with an observation period of 8 weeks.Record the changes in blood pressure levels,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores,left atrial inner diameter,and other indicators of the two groups of patients before and after treatment,and conduct statistical analysis and related comparisons.At the same time,observe and record the corresponding safety indicators of the two groups of patients.Results:1.The two groups of cases did not fall off.The distribution of basic data and various observation indicators of the two groups of cases before treatment was balanced,and there was no statistical difference(P >0.05).2.After treatment,the clinical symptoms of the treatment group were significantly improved,and the TCM syndrome score of the two groups were significantly reduced(P < 0.0 1).The TCM syndrome score of the treatment group after treatment was significantly lower than that of the control group(P <0.01),and the total effective rate of the treatment group(93.3%)was higher than that of the control group(46.6%).3.In terms of lowering blood pressure,Compared with before treatment,blood pressure of both groups decreased significantly after treatment(P <0.01),and the antihypertensive effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P <0.05).4.In terms of improving left atrial enlargement,The color Doppler echocardiogram indexes in both groups had significant changes.After treatment,the left atrial size and left atrial diameter index in both groups were significantly improved compared with before treatment(P < 0.0 1),and the treatment group was better than the control group(P < 0.0 5).5.Comparison of safety indicators: There were no significant differences in safety indexes of liver and kidney function and no adverse reactions between the two groups before and after treatment.Conclusions: On the basis of western medicine treatment,the combination of Jiawei Zexie Decoction has a more significant effect on the treatment of left atrial enlargement caused by hypertension compared with the treatment of western medicine alone.Its mechanism of action is related to a variety of factors.It has shown a good effect in reducing blood pressure,improving left atrial enlargement,and improving the symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine.It shows that the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine has more advantages than the single western medicine treatment,showing a good therapeutic effect,and is more safe and reliable,providing more ideas and references for clinical treatment.
