Observation Of Clinical Effect Of Fumigation With Traditional Chinese Medicine On Sanders Ⅱ And Sanders Ⅲ Calcaneal Fracture Treated By Internal Fixation With Locking Plate

Objective: We investigated the efficacy of Chinese herbal fumigation in the functional exercise of Sanders Ⅱ and Sanders Ⅲ heel fracture after plate internal fixation,and observed that Chinese herbal fumigation has a clear and effective therapeutic effect on those symptoms of patients in the postoperative rehabilitation of heel fracture.The effect of Chinese herbal fumigation in postoperative rehabilitation of heel fractures was observed.In order to provide new ideas for postoperative rehabilitation of patients with Sanders type Ⅱ and Sanders type Ⅲ heel fracture plate internal fixation.Provide a reasonable and effective prevention and treatment plan for patients with limb dysfunction caused by postoperative ankle immobilization.Methods: Sixty patients with Sanders Ⅱ and Sanders Ⅲ calcaneal fractures who underwent parallel locking plate internal fixation surgery from January 2021 to January 2023 in the Department of Orthopedics,Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected and randomly divided into a treatment group of 30 cases and a control group of 30 cases.The control group began routine functional exercise 24 hours after surgery,while the treatment group received routine functional exercise and traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and washing treatment 2 weeks after surgery for 10 weeks,collect the values of AOFAS score and VAS score as clinical data at 2 weeks and 12 weeks after surgery.Use SPSS26.0 statistical software to analyze clinical data,and flexibly use t-tests,non-parametric tests,and chi square tests for inter group and intra group comparisons before and after treatment.Results: There was no statistically significant difference in general information such as gender,age,fracture site,and fracture classification between the two groups of patients(P>0.05).Intragroup comparison found that at 12 weeks after surgery,the VAS score and AOFAS score of the treatment group and control group showed significant improvement compared to 2 weeks after surgery.Both groups had improved VAS scores,reduced pain(P<0.05),significantly increased AOFAS scores,and improved limb motor function(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in VAS and AOFAS scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),while there was a statistically significant difference in VAS and AOFAS scores between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05).The VAS score of the treatment group after treatment was significantly lower than that of the control group,and the decrease in pain score in the treatment group was greater than that in the control group;After treatment,the AOFAS score of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the increase in score was greater than that of the control group before treatment.Conclusion: This study observed the changes in VAS scores and AOFAS scores of two groups of Sanders Ⅱ and Sanders Ⅲ calcaneal fracture patients treated with Huoxue Zhitong Fumigation Lotion at 2 weeks and 12 weeks after open reduction and locking plate internal fixation.The following conclusion is drawn:1.Huoxue Zhitong Fumigation Lotion can significantly improve the motor dysfunction of affected limbs after Sanders Ⅱ and Sanders Ⅲ calcaneal fracture plate internal fixation surgery,which may enable patients to achieve better quality of life in the future.2.Huoxue Zhitong Fumigation Lotion can effectively alleviate the pain during postoperative functional exercise for patients,and improve the efficiency of functional exercise for patients.3.The use of blood activating and pain relieving fumigants to assist in the rehabilitation treatment of Sanders Ⅱ and Sanders Ⅲ calcaneal fractures after internal fixation with steel plates has the value of clinical use and promotion.
