Clinical Observation Of The Efficacy Of Sanjiu Patch On The Stable Stage Of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Purpose:Through the observation of the sanjiu patch effects,applied on the COPD patients,the effectiveness of the Sanjiu patch in improving the COPD patients’ life quality and preventing the acute aggregation will be explored,which will open up new ideas for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases.Methods:From December 2019 to December 2020,the basic information(gender,age,weight,years of education,years of smoking,lung function)of patients with COPD after applying Sanjiu herbs paste in the Suining Central Hospital and department of traditional Chinese medicine,Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College,and patients without using this herbs paste in the inpatient department of COPD respiratory,Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College was collected.The acute attack times of COPD,CAT symptom score(COPD Assessment TestTM)and mMRC(Modified Medical Research Council)were recorded.Besides,telephone follow-up was conducted at the 6th month and the 1st year,and the number of acute attacks in that period were recorded respectively to record CAT symptom score and mMRC at that time.Statistical methods:Collect information and input it into computer,and use SPSS28 statistical analysis software for data statistics and analysis.Correlation was analyzed by correlation:count data were tested by X2,measurement data using t test and expressed as(mean±standard deviation),and rank sum test was used for grade data(median(IQR 25,IQR 75)was expressed),the effects of gender,smoking,age,and education on the number of acute exacerbationswere analyzed by logistics regression.The results were statistically significant with P<0.05.Results:(1)At 6 months,compared with the control group,there wasn’t a statistically significant difference in mMRC and CAT symptom scores in the intervention group(P>0.05);(2)At 1 year,compared with the control group,there was a statistically significant difference in mMRC and CAT symptom scores in the intervention group(P<0.05);(3)According to statistical analysis,acupoint paste(Sanjiu herbs paste)treatment has statistical significance in reducing the number of acute exacerbations in one year(P<0.05)Conclusion:On the basis of the original treatment of patients with stable COPD,adding Sanjiu herbs paste treatment has more advantages in mMRC and CAT symptom scores after 1 year;it has more advantages in reducing the number of acute attacks in patients within 1 year;it can be recommended the patient applied this paste during the stable period.
