| ObjectiveDesign a questionnaire to investigate the current situation of patients’shame after prostate cancer surgery,and analyze the influence of various influencing factors on patients’ shame,further construct the structural equation,explore the effect and action path of various factors on patients’ shame,and preliminarily clarify the action mechanism of various influencing factors on patients’ shame,To provide basis for clinical nursing and rehabilitation of postoperative patients with prostate cancer.MethodsTwo hundred and eighty-six postoperative patients with prostate cancer were selected from the Department of Urology of a hospital in guangzhou from November 2019 to October 2021.Using the questionnaire star,the social impact scale,social support scale,Hamilton Depression Scale,self-esteem scale and general data collection form were made into an online questionnaire to investigate and summarize the patients’sense of shame and its various influencing factors.The questionnaire survey results were calculated by Excel and spss23.0 analyze the influence of general data on patients’sense of shame,and the correlation between patients’ self-esteem,depression,social support and sense of shame,using amos23.0 construct a structural equation model to analyze the path and mechanism of various influencing factors on patients’ sense of shame.Result1.Current situation of postoperative stigma of prostate cancerThe average scores of shame,social exclusion,economic discrimination,internal shame and social isolation were 57.42 ± 6.48,18.11 ± 3.64,5.85 ± 1.78,10.80 ± 2.64 and 22.65 ± 2.69 respectively.2.Influence of various influencing factors on the sense of shame of patients with prostate cancer after operation(1)The age,education level,work condition and economic burden of patients had an impact on the sense of shame,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).The monthly general family income of patients had an impact on the sense of shame,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)The degree of objective support,subjective support and self-esteem had a certain impact on the patients’ sense of shame(P<0.05).The utilization of support and the degree of depression had a significant impact on the patients’ sense of shame(P<0.001)3.The mechanism of social support,self-esteem and depression on patients’ sense of shameSocial support has a direct negative impact on patients’ shame,and the path coefficient is-0.34,which is not obvious;The degree of depression has a direct and indirect positive impact on the stigma of patients.The direct path coefficient is 0.18,the indirect path coefficient is 0.68 and 0.09;The degree of self-esteem has a direct negative impact on patients’ sense of shame,and the path coefficient is-0.99,and the indirect effect is not obvious.Conclusion1.The stigma of postoperative patients with prostate cancer is widespread,and the stigma is at a medium level,which needs the attention and timely intervention of medical staff.2.Patients’ age,education,work,monthly family per capita income and economic burden have a significant impact on patients’ sense of shame.3.The social support,self-esteem and depression of postoperative patients with prostate cancer can affect the patients’ sense of shame.Social support and self-esteem were negatively correlated with stigma,and the degree of depression was positively correlated with stigma.Social support,self-esteem and depression can have an indirect and direct impact on patients’ sense of shame,but its direct effect is more obvious. |
