ObjectiveThe purpose of this study was to evaluate the correlation between mean glucose and Glycated serum protein using flash glucose monitoring, and analysis of its influencing factors.MethodsA total of 103 patients with clinical diagnosis of type 2 diabetes who were admitted to the Zhujiang Hospital from August 2020 to February 2022 were selected, and the flash glucose monitoring was worn on admission, then the scanner was removed 2 weeks later for data analysis,at the same time fasting blood glucose and glycated serum protein were measured. The calculation indexes mainly included Mean blood glucose(MG);standard deviation of mean blood glucose(SD);the time in range(TIR),mean amplitude of gi excursion,MAGE),absolute means of daily differences(MODD),coefficient of variation(CV).Pearson correlation analysis was used to obtain the correlation coefficient between mean glucose and Glycated serum proteins.Meanwhile,Glycemic variability parameters(SD,TIR,MAGE,MODD,CV)were divided into two subgroups, and the correlation between mean glucose and glycated serum protein in different subgroups was calculated. At the same time, group regression model was used to determine whether the correlation between the two groups was statistically different.Results1.There was a moderate correlation between mean glucose and glycated serum protein in type 2 diabetes patients during the adjusting diabetes medication(r=0.45)(P<0.001).2.When CV≤31.69%,the correlation coefficient between mean glucose and glycated serum protein(r=0.631,P<0.001)was significantly greater than that in CV>31.69%group(r=0.283,P<0.05),and the correlation coefficients are statistically different.while the subgroup analysis was performed according to SD,TIR,MAGE,MODD,the correlation coefficient between the mean glucose and glycated serum protein in the two subgroups was not statistically different.3.In the investigation of the influencing factors of CV,the study found that gender, hypoglycemic drugs and 2-hour C-peptide were correlated with CV.ConclusionsThere was a moderate correlation between mean glucose and glycated serum protein during adjustment of antidiabetic drugs in type 2 diabetes patients.Among them,CV is an important factor affecting its correlation.
