Objective: The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors affecting the survival and prognosis of CRC patients in the Qinghai region by collecting general clinical data of patients, and to provide more valuable information for clinical decision making,so as to carry out targeted clinical management and improve the survival and prognosis of colorectal cancer patients in the xx region. Methods: The clinical and laboratory data of colorectal cancer patients in the Qinghai region Province from 2014 to 2017 were collected, and the patients were followed up by telephone, outpatient and review of inpatient clinical data.SPSS 19.0 software was used for data analysis, and the count data were expressed by n(%),and the comparison between groups was performed by χ2 test. The receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)was used to determine the optimal clinical cut-off values of NLR,PLR,SII and CAR,and the relationship between NLR,PLR,SII and CAR and clinicopathological factors in patients with colorectal cancer was analyzed. The survival curve was drawn by Kaplan-Meier method to analyze the difference test of survival rate among different NLR,PLR,SII and CAR groups.Cox regression model was used to conduct univariate and multivariate analysis to determine the risk factors affecting the prognosis of patients with colorectal cancer.P<0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: The final 164 patients were included in this study. The ROC curves determined the optimal clinical cut-off values of 1.96,133.22,414.12 and 1.35 for NLR,PLR,SII and CAR,and divided the 164 patients into groups with the optimal clinical cut-off values.Mean survival time in the low NLR group(79±3.4 months)was significantly higher than that in the high NLR group(58.0±4 months);mean survival time in the low group PLR(≤112.51)was significantly higher(81.02±3.5months)than that in the high PLR(>112.51)group(60.82±3.7 months).Similarly, the survival times were 81.6±3.2(months)and 74±3.5(months)in the low SII(≤414.12)and low CAR(≤1.35)groups,respectively,and 53.9±4.2(months)and 52±5.5(months)in the high SII(>414.12)and high CAR(>1.35)groups,respectively.Colorectal cancer patients with higher preoperative PLR,NLR,SII,and CAR have poorer prognosis。Cox univariate analysis showed that age,TNM stage, lymph node metastasis,BMI,CEA,PLR,NLR,SII,and CAR were prognostic factors for colorectal cancer(P<0.05);Cox multivariate analysis showed that age,BMI and SII were independent prognostic risk factors for colorectal cancer(P<0.05).Conclusion: There are many factors affecting the survival and prognosis of colorectal cancer, among which age,BMI and SII are independent risk factors for the prognosis of colorectal cancer;Preoperative PLR,NLR,SII,and CAR can evaluate the prognosis of colorectal patients.Patients with high preoperative SII,NLR,PLR and CAR have poor prognosis, which can provide guidance for colorectal cancer diagnosis and treatment in the Qinghai area.
