Objective : The purpose of this study is to investigate the epidemiology of patients with cerebral contusion in recent five years,to clarify the factors affecting the prognosis of cerebral contusion,and to provide scientific theoretical basis for the prevention,control and treatment of cerebral contusion in Qinghai area.Methods : A retrospective study was conducted to collect inpatients with cerebral contusion and laceration who met the inclusion criteria in Affiliated Hospital of Qinghai University from 2016 to 2020.SPSS26.0software was used for descriptive data analysis,chi-square test and Logistic regression data analysis.95 % of the calculated OR value is the confidence interval.P < 0.05 indicated that the difference was statistically significant.Results : 1.General data analysis : the ratio of male to female is 4.10 : 1.The average age was 46.65 ± 16.092 years old,with the largest number of young people aged 18 – 43.The highest incidence was farmers,and the education level of junior high school and below junior high school accounted for 83.95 %;fall caused the largest number of brain contusion;2.Clinical features analysis : the proportion of conscious patients is the highest in ideology;neurosurgery received the highest proportion of brain contusion,severe brain contusion received the most departments for emergency ICU.There were 54 deaths(7.41 %).Logistic regression analysis showed that the main factors affecting the prognosis of cerebral contusion were age,hypertension,ideology and GCS score at admission.The average length of stay was16.84±9.501 days.Conclusion : 1.Male patients with cerebral contusion and laceration in Qinghai area were significantly more than women,especially in young and middle-aged patients.2.Farmers are high-risk groups and generally have low educational qualifications.3.Fall is the main cause of brain contusion.4.The patients with cerebral contusion and laceration in Qinghai have long hospitalization time and high hospitalization expenses.5.The main factors affecting the prognosis of cerebral contusion are : age,hypertension,ideology and admission GCS score.
