Objective: Based on the STRAW + 10 staging system,to investigate whether fluctuating or decreasing estrogen levels in women during reproductive aging induce episodes of sensitive skin or causing increased skin sensitivity,in order to provide new ideas for the treatment of women with sensitive skin or increased skin sensitivity in stages-2~+2(transitional and post-menopausal).Methods: The subjects selected for this study were adult healthy women who went to the physical examination center of the Affiliated Hospital of Qing Hai University to take physical examination over 2020.12-2021.12 and met the application of STRAW + 10 staging system. The methodology of this study was in the form of an intelligent electronic questionnaire with 3 parts: general demographic data, sensitive skin data, and obstetrical and gynecological data. The cardinality test as well as binary logistic regression equation analysis were used to statistically analyze the data of this study.Results:1.After choosing the objects according to the standard,464 valid questionnaires were finally obtained.Among the 464 study subjects,a total of309 had sensitive skin and 155 had non-sensitive skin;a total of 359 women in the-2~+2 stages(transitional and post-menopausal),of whom 64.3%(231/359)thought that skin sensitivity increased after reproductive aging.2.The results of chi-square analysis showed that the difference between the presence or absence of sensitive skin at different stages of the STRAW+10staging system was statistically significant(P=0.036);the difference between the presence or absence of increased skin sensitivity based on the STRAW+10staging system and the different stages of reproductive aging was statistically significant(P<0.001);the difference between the presence or absence of increased skin sensitivity after reproductive aging and previous The difference between the presence or absence of increased skin sensitivity during menstruation was statistically significant(P<0.05);there was also a statistical difference in the incidence of sensitive skin by education level and ethnicity(P<0.05).3.Using these indicators with statistical differences as independent variables and the presence of sensitive skin and increased skin sensitivity as dependent variables in a binary logistic regression analysis,+1a late~+2 stage(post-menopausale),Tibetan population, and high literacy are risk factors affecting the occurrence of SS(P<0.05);+1a late ~ +2 stage(postmenopausale),previous periods when population with increased skin sensitivity were risk factors affecting increased skin sensitivity after reproductive aging(P<0.05).4.A total of 359 women in stage-2~+2(transitional and post-menopausale)had a MHT awareness rate of 8.4%(30/359)and a MHT utilization rate of 4.2%(15/359).Conclusions:1.Based on the STRAW+10 staging system,it is known that a decrease in estrogen levels due to reproductive aging in women in the +1a late~ +2 stage(post-menopausa)can lead to episodes of sensitive skin or increased skin sensitivity by affecting the skin barrier function. Therefore, the MDT model(i.e.gynecologic endocrinologist and dermatologist together)is recommended for the treatment of women with SS or increased skin sensitivity to provide individualized treatment in the +1a late~+2 stage.2.In Qinghai area, the awareness rate and utilization rate of MHT among women is much lower than those in domestic first and second-tier cities, indicating that women in this region have very little knowledge about reproductive aging. Therefore,we should do many jobs of health education and increase media publicity to improve the awareness level of reproductive aging among women in this region and improve the quality of life of women in the transitional and late menopause to a certain extent.
