ObjectiveTo explore the effect of nursing intervention based on the Interaction Model of Client Health Behavior on self-management efficacy, quality of life, medical coping style and shoulder joint motion in postoperative breast cancer patients, and to provide a new reference for clinical nursing.MethodsA total of 84 patients with breast cancer who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria from February 2021 to September 2021 in a tertiary hospital in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region were selected as the research subjects, the patients were randomly divided into intervention group and control group with 42 cases in each group. The control group received conventional nursing intervention, while the intervention group received conventional nursing intervention based on the Interaction Model of Client Health Behavior. The two groups were evaluated by the Srategies Used by People to Promote Health(SUPPH),Functiond Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Breast(FACT-B),Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire(MCMQ)and Range Of Motion(ROM)were evaluated on the first day before operation, the first chemotherapy after operation and the third chemotherapy after operation.SPSS24.0 software was used for statistical analysis of the experimental data.Results1.The final effective sample size of this study is 77 cases, there were 39 cases in the intervention group and 38 cases in the control group, and 7 cases were lost. The loss rate was 8.3%.There was no significant difference in general information between the two groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in self-management efficacy, quality of life, medical coping style and shoulder activity score on the first day before intervention(P>0.05).2.There was significant difference in the total score of self-management efficacy and the scores of each dimension between the two groups at the first postoperative chemotherapy and the third postoperative chemotherapy(P < 0.05).Repeated measurement analysis of variance showed that there was interaction between groups and time effect(P<0.05).3.There was significant difference in the total score of quality of life, the total score of each dimension and the score of each dimension(except the dimension of physiological status)between the two groups at the first postoperative chemotherapy and the third postoperative chemotherapy(P<0.05).Repeated measurement analysis of variance showed that there was interaction between groups and time effect(P<0.05).4.There was significant difference in medical coping styles scores of face, avoidance and yield between the two groups were compared at the first postoperative chemotherapy and the third postoperative chemotherapy(P < 0.05).Repeated measurement analysis of variance showed that there was interaction between groups and time effect(P<0.05).5.There was significant difference in the shoulder flexion, extension, adduction, abduction, internal rotation and external rotationand activity between the two groups at the first postoperative chemotherapy and the third postoperative chemotherapy(P<0.05).Repeated measurement analysis of variance showed that there was interaction between groups and time effect(P<0.05).ConclusionNursing intervention program based on Interaction Model of Client Health Behavior can effectively improve the self-management efficacy of breast cancer patients after operation, help patients face the disease positively, reduce the negative attitude of avoidance and yield, improve shoulder activity, and improve the quality of life.
