Objective: To investigate the effectiveness of Rorschach inkblot test in evaluating anxiety disorder, combined with the psychophysiological evidence of biofeedback technology, and screen the factor indexes that can identify anxiety disorder. Methods: Patients with clinically diagnosed anxiety disorder(n = 60)and healthy volunteers(n = 60)were recruited in a hospital in Guizhou Province and divided into anxiety disorder group and healthy control group. All subjects were tested by Rorschach inkblot test, and the subjects were given instructions, tests and score coding according to the standard procedures of the comprehensive system. The psychophysiological signals such as skin temperature, heart rate and EMG were measured by biofeedback instrument.Results:(1)On the Rorschach inkblot test, scores of texture shape response(TF),pure texture response(T),total number of texture responses(Sum T),shadow shape dimension(VF),pure shadow dimension response(V),total number of shadow dimension responses(Sum V),diffuse shape response(YF),pure shadow shape response(Y),total number of shadow diffuse responses(Sum Y),processing efficiency(Zd),complete character(H),character experience(Hx),aggressive exercise(AG)and morbid content(MOR)in anxiety disorder group were significantly higher than those in healthy control group(p <0.05);(2)In the anxiety disorder group, the average EMG value in Figure VII and figure VIII of the picture task was significantly higher than that in the healthy control group(p < 0.05),and the average skin temperature in figure I and figure II of the picture task was significantly lower than that in the healthy control group(p < 0.05);There was no significant difference in heart rate between anxiety disorder group and healthy control group in each stage of picture task(p > 0.05);(3)In the anxiety disorder group, the score of character experience(HX)was positively correlated with the change of EMG(r = 0.304,p < 0.05),the scores of aggressive exercise(Ag)and morbid content(MOR)were negatively correlated with the change of skin temperature(r =-0.370,-0.331,p < 0.01),and the score of aggressive exercise(Ag)was positively correlated with the change of heart rate(r = 0.256,-0.26,p < 0.05).Conclusion: In Rorschach Inkblot Test,TF,T,Sum T,VF,V,Sum V,YF,Y,Sum Y,Zd,H,Hx,AG,MOR can distinguish anxiety disorder patients from healthy controls; The EMG response of anxiety disorder patients in Rorschach ink test was higher than that of healthy control group, and the average skin temperature was lower than that of healthy control group; The score of character experience(HX)in patients with anxiety disorder was positively correlated with the change of EMG,the scores of aggressive exercise(Ag)and morbid content(MOR)were negatively correlated with the change of skin temperature, and the score of aggressive exercise(Ag)was positively correlated with the change of heart rate.
