The Impact Of Floating Population’s Familyization On The Participation Of Medical Insurance In The Inflow Area

With China’s economic and social transformation,the floating population has also shown a new trend of development,from the original "single-handed" flow to carry their families together.The family migration is not only a simple gathering of people or geographical displacement,but also the adjustment of floating population’s demands for family life style and social welfare.Therefore,on the basis of previous studies and based on the dynamic monitoring data of jiangsu floating population in2017,under the guidance of new economic migration theory,social network theory and social integration theory,this paper uses binary logistic regression and other methods to quantitatively examine the impact of family migration on their medical insurance participation in the destination.The findings:First,the floating population in Jiangsu province has a significant family characteristics,mainly in the core family model.Among them,75.5% belong to family migration,while only 24.5% belong to individual flow.In addition,58.7 percent of the migrants have completed their nuclear family migration,but 41.3 percent are still separated from their spouses or children.Second,the participation rate of medical insurance of floating population in jiangsu province is low,which leads to the limited protection effect of medical insurance system on floating population.Thirdly,The family of floating population in Jiangsu province has the promotion effect of insurance participation in the inflow place,and the higher the insurance participation rate of floating population in the unit of nuclear family,and the "family-social" network and "economy-behavior" integration is the explanation mechanism.Fourthly,there are differences in the basic characteristics of floating population in jiangsu province.Finally,according to the research results,this paper puts forward the following countermeasures and suggestions: coordination and integration of medical insurance system,promote medical insurance to adapt to family mobility;To ensure the welfare needs of migrant families and improve the willingness to participate in medical insurance in the destination areas;Pay attention to the interaction and integration of floating families,recognize and guide medical insurance participation behavior.
