| Objective Zinc finger protein like 1(ZFPL1)is involved in a series of different biological processes,such as cell growth,migration,proliferation and metabolism,and ZFPL1 is highly expressed in endometrial cancer,gastric cancer and other cancers,with a ring-shaped structure The domain is essential for the expression of ZFPL1.In this study,the expression level of ZFPL1 in peripheral blood was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),and the level difference between lung cancer patients and healthy controls,and the level difference between lung cancer patients before and after treatment(only chemotherapy,only surgery)were compared.In order to explore the clinical significance of serum ZFPL1 level in the diagnosis,curative effect and prognosis of lung cancer.Methods In this study,ELISA kit was used to detect the expression level of ZFPL1 in the serum of 75 lung cancer patients(32 lung adenocarcinoma,31 lung squamous cell carcinoma,and 12 small cell lung cancer)and 75 healthy control patients.The difference between the expression level of ZFPL1 in serum and the expression level of ZFPL1 in the healthy control group.The serum ZFPL1 levels in patients with lung cancer were compared in terms of gender,age,smoking,clinicopathological types,tumor location,TNM staging and other clinical data.The differences of serum ZFPL1 expression levels in patients with lung cancer before and after treatment were compared.Among the 75 lung cancer patients,57 lung cancer patients received only 2 cycles of conventional chemotherapy,and 18 lung cancer patients only received surgery.The ZFPL1 levels were detected before and after chemotherapy and before and after surgery.The expression of ZFPL1 in different signaling pathways was mined by bioinformatics.The receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)was used to calculate the area under the curve(AUC)to evaluate the diagnostic value of serum ZFPL1 levels for different types of lung cancer and early,middle and late lung cancer.)multi-index combined diagnosis of lung cancer.Results(1)The level of ZFPL1 in the serum of lung cancer patients was significantly higher than that of healthy controls,and there was a statistical difference.(2)There were no significant differences in the expression of serum ZFPL1 levels in lung cancer patients with different gender,age,smoking,tumor location,tumor size,and distant metastasis.(3)The level of ZFPL1 in stage I-II was significantly higher than that in stage III-IV,and there was a statistical difference.(4)The level of ZFPL1 was significantly different before and after treatment of lung cancer,and the level after treatment was significantly lower than that before treatment.Among the patients who only received chemotherapy,there was a statistically significant difference before and after chemotherapy,and the level after chemotherapy was significantly lower than that before chemotherapy.The levels of ZFPL1 in the three different pathological types of lung adenocarcinoma,squamous cell carcinoma and small cell lung cancer were significantly different before and after treatment,and the level of ZFPL1 after treatment was significantly lower than the level of ZFPL1 before treatment.(5)There was no significant difference in the levels of ZFPL1 among the adenocarcinoma,squamous cell carcinoma,and small cell lung cancer groups.No statistical difference.(6)The best cut-off value of the ROC curve for the diagnosis of lung cancer by serum ZFPL1 level was 356.2 pg/ml,AUC was0.921,Youden index was 0.773,the sensitivity was 78.67%,the specificity was98.67%,and the P value was less than 0.0001.Statistics learning differences.The optimal cut-off value of the ROC curve for the diagnosis of lung adenocarcinoma by serum ZFPL1 level was 411.9 pg/ml,AUC was 0.920,Youden index was 0.781,the sensitivity was 81.25%,the specificity was 96.88%,and the P value was less than 0.0001.difference.The optimal cut-off value of the ROC curve for the diagnosis of lung squamous cell carcinoma by serum ZFPL1 level was 360.3 pg/ml,the AUC was 0.912,the Youden index was 0.707,the sensitivity was 80.65%,the specificity was 90%,and the P value was less than 0.0001.difference.The optimal cut-off value of the ROC curve for the diagnosis of small cell lung cancer by serum ZFPL1 level was 309.2 pg/ml,the AUC was 0.951,the Youden index was 0.792,the sensitivity was 83.33%,the specificity was 95.88%,and the P value was less than 0.0001.difference.The optimal cut-off value of the ROC curve of serum ZFPL1 level in the diagnosis of early-stage lung cancer and advanced lung cancer was 760.7 pg/ml,AUC was0.657,Youden index was 0.357,the sensitivity was 91.23%,the specificity was44.44%,and the P value was 0.0458.There is a statistical difference.Conclusions(1)Serum ZFPL1 has potential diagnostic value for lung cancer and can be used as a serum marker for the diagnosis of lung cancer to a certain extent.(2)Serum ZFPL1 level can be used as an evaluation index for short-term efficacy of lung cancer treatment,including chemotherapy efficacy and surgical efficacy. |
