Objective:To evaluate the distribution of TCM syndromes and sleep disorders in patients with metabolic syndrome,to explore the correlation between TCM syndromes and sleep disorders in patients with metabolic syndrome,to analyze the influencing factors of metabolic syndrome with sleep disorders, and to provide clinical ideas for the prevention and treatment of metabolic syndrome with sleep disorders. Methods:The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI) questionnaire was conducted among outpatients and inpatients who met the criteria in the First Cardiovascular Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine from December 2020 to December 2021,and relevant clinical data were collected.SPSS 23.0 statistical software was used to analyze the collected data.To explore the relationship between TCM syndrome types and components of metabolic syndrome and sleep disorder.Results:1.There were statistically significant differences in age, smoking, alcohol consumption,BMI,waist circumference,SBP,DBP,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C,TC,FPG,FINS,HOMA-IR,PSQI scores and sleep disorders in MS group compared with non-MS group(P<0.01).2.Age,smoking,alcohol consumption,BMI and sleep disorders are risk factors for MS(P<0.05).3.According to PSQI scale score,MS patients were divided into two groups: the group without sleep disorder and the group with sleep disorder. There were statistically significant differences in BMI,waist circumference,SBP,FPG,FINS,HOMA-IR,TG and HDL-C between the two groups(P<0.05).4.The distribution proportion of TCM syndromes in MS patients was phlegm and stasis syndrome > deficiency of spleen and kidney syndrome >liver stagnation and spleen deficiency syndrome > qi stagnation and dampness obstruction syndrome > deficiency of qi and Yin syndrome.PSQI score and sleep disorder were significantly different between MS patients with phlegm-stasis syndrome and those without phlegm-stasis syndrome(P<0.01).5.There was significant difference in TCM syndrome type between MS patients with sleep disorder group and those without sleep disorder group(P<0.01).6.FPG,FINS and entangling of phlegm and blood stasis are risk factors for sleep disorders in MS patients(P<0.01).Conclusion:1.People with MS have a higher incidence of sleep disorders;Age,smoking, alcohol consumption,BMI and sleep disorders were risk factors for MS.FPG and FINS are risk factors for sleep disorders in MS patients.2.All TCM syndromes of MS patients showed sleep disorders, among which the syndrome of phlegm and blood stasis had the most proportion.Among TCM syndromes, the syndrome of phlegm and blood stasis is a risk factor for sleep disorder in MS patients.
